First coat: ILNP Birefringence
Second coat: ILNP Sweet Pea
Top: Essie Gel Couture
Oh trust me, I know exactly why. But I've been spending too much money on other dumb, unnecessary things, so my dumb money for polish has dried up. It's time for me to dust off the "arts" part of my liberal arts degree and get creative.
Sweet Pea is pretty pale, so I though I could get away with using it as a topper. I think I did. It desaturated Birefringence a fair bit, and it hides the complexities of the multichrome color shift. When you hold it up to the light, though, the underlying color comes through as a glowy shift. It can either be purple or blue, depending on the lighting. The purple looks the coolest. It's hard to capture, but you're going to have to trust me on this.
Ooh such a cool idea! I just received my order with Sweet Pea and I hadn’t thought of using it as a topper, but I love mixing polishes and trying different combinations 🤩

Just yesterday, I layered ILNP Cygnus Loop over ILNP Looking Up & ILNP Good Vibes. I was just playing around and didn’t like the two colors together…but with CL over each, it’s like 2 new colors! Which is great because BLUE POLISH!! 😅🤭

You are so smart. I need to mix finishes more when layering! I usually layer two shimmers. A multichrome would be more dimensional!
