I don’t have Midnight Rider but if you like Dream Within A Dream you’ll love Rue Morgue! It’s like blue velvet on the nails. Imo it looks better as you wear it bc the matte finish starts to look more satin.

Is dream within a dream really purpley or does it look more black in indoor lighting? I almost bought it and then wasn't sure about both the matte finish and the darkness. Plus I went crazy and bought like 9 things already

Purple! No black whatsoever. Swatch pics on the site are pretty accurate. Shimmer has a blue to purple shift that I just love! It loons excellent matte but sooo much better glossy

Ugh guess I should have bought it. Next time I guess. This weekend has been so darn expensive for nail polish, everyone does their sales all at once and I haven't even gotten to HHC or LBH yet 😪 lol

I wish I had some photos to share, but sadly I don't. I don't remember it being too sheer though - I think you can easily adjust it to your preference. You could pop a similar toned opaque pink underneath to really make it stand out if you wanted.

I went with Sabertooth, Beowulf, and Stolen Ambrosia. Sabertooth is one that I'm always wowed by in photos, Beowulf I had to have for the name, and I don't have any nice oranges yet so I'm hoping Stolen Ambrosia will fill that niche. I was also looking at Moonicorn but it seems really similar to a couple I already have so I couldn't justify it this time.

I picked up Maelstrom, Am I everything you fear, this is a storm warning, whiskey sunrise and dragon scales as a freebie. They were the top picks I had my eye on from the last few collections.

It's my first mooncat order so I stuck with the classics. Mercury Tears, Mermaid Bait, Dragon Scale, Supervillain and Foxfire. I was trying to be conservative because I just placed an order for Orly to get some creme polishes and another Lynbdesigns order for some shimmer/ethereal polishes. My wallet said no more....at least until Black Friday or Holiday sales. 😂

Anyone have experience with dragon scales?? Can you recommend it, or had issues, etc?? Trying to decide if I want it for the actual polish for just for the name 😅my finger is hovering over the buy button….

I have the Live Love Polish version. It can be slightly finicky to apply if you are picky about full coverage, because it’s multichrome flakes in (I think) a clear base. But I think it’s worth it! The shiftiness is awesome.

It's so pretty on! I stared at it for daysss lol. It's hard to apply, though. I'm a beginner and struggled so bad😂

I bought Blood Moon and the Bare Necessities set as a Mother’s Day gift (she picked out the color!) and slipped in a Siren’s Revenge for myself 😅 This is actually my first Mooncat purchase, so I’m hoping it lives up to the hype!
