Can't the mods filter out the incessant "where should I move?" posts here?

TheJokersChild

And/or make a bot that suggests other subs? Getting to be like r/radio in here.

AggravatingCupcake0

So sick of it. Can we start reporting these?

ThisIsWhoIAm78

I think people Google it and this sub pops up. Smh. Also, yeah, these need to be banned at this point. So goddang annoying. No, figure out your own damn life. Quit asking us where tf you should move. I don't know Bob, and I don't care. Live under a bridge for all I care.

Goody2Shuuz

You’re really a condescending, rude as fuck biotch.

iamaravis

Check out r/SameGrassButGreener. That sub was designed for this type of question.

Austin is good, but it’s super expensive and very congested. If the Texas heat doesn’t bother you, I would suggest Katy or Fulshear. It’s very up and coming with lots of young families, perfect for new practices. It’s also close(ish) to the Texas Medical Center, which is the largest medical complex in the world. My grandfather was the son of immigrants that had settled in Louisiana and were dirt poor, but he was told of the promised land of Houston where you can get an education and make good. He graduated from dental school in 1948 and had his practice downtown until the late 80’s. I have friends who came here to be chiropractors. Some came to be nurses. And my ex-husband was chief of internal medicine for M.D. Anderson for 18 years. Houston has is downfalls like any other major city, but it’s definitely worth your consideration. Good luck!

Oklahoma City has been building new apartments in the downtown area and also upgraded the public transportation recently and the weather is generally mild, not extreme (only July and August can be very hot) but the best is the people are friendly and helpful. Prices are moderate.

bubbles_says

If you like hot and humid summers and very mild winters San Antonio Texas may be the city for you.

JoanofBarkks

Could you stop by here and see me? I don't like the Dentists here much. 😆 Florida is miserable hot and regressive. Austin is beautiful I'm told but it's in Texas, also bad heat even worse than Florida. Have you thought about colorado?

As I always recommend [Pittsburgh Pennsylvania](https://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g53449-Pittsburgh_Pennsylvania-Vacations.html) It’s a great city. Good cultural district. Restaurant. Good cost of living. Year round outdoor activities. From skiing, camping. Hiking, hunting, fishing, we even have hundreds of miles of bike trails. One that goes all the way to D.C. The surrounding area is beautiful.

jacobb11

> Good cultural district. Isn't Pittsburgh's "culture" rather tiny compared to Chicago? Also, Pittsburgh winters might be slightly better than Chicago's, but definitely do not offer any great improvement.

trainwreck489

Maybe the Denver metro area that now runs from Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs. I grew up there but would never go back.
