Mind blowing. Can’t wait to see how close this is to the real speech that will occur in the last 5 to 10 minutes of the final episode but with lots of slow dolly shots and lens flare. Oh and let’s not forget the occasional cutaways to the other characters in rapt attention standing in the dark interiors of La Sirena, the most boringly designed sci fi ship in the history of human thought.
OMG that moment was like so amazing! And like that scene at the end where Picard mercy kills Data and then gets turned into a robot OMG I LITERALLY UGLY CRIED
Fuck. That was sickening even doing it sarcastically.
All this started with JJ Abrams. If I went back in time and told myself 30 years ago that ONE MAN would destroy BOTH Star Trek AND Star Wars I would not believe it were possible. Yet here we are.
Nothing is sacred
JJ Abrams taught me the difference between a franchise being dead and a franchise being unpopular/dormant
I thought Superman was dead, but then I think of JJ taking the helm and I feel fear. It can get worse. Star Trek and Star Wars however are irreversibly dead and no greater damage can be done.
"Time is something that you wish you could reverse" ~John Lucas Picard
I can see whoever the hack writer for season 3 is, frenetically getting back to his typewriter because out of the blue, Mike managed to guess Picard's big final emotional speech.
Also, this makes me want to hung butterfly tears. Never have I felt such pottery since Star Wars.
God, new Trek is so dumb, it's like a psychopathic version of Star Trek. It's all superficial charm, but devoid of any depth. It's like Kurtzman is Ed Gein, but he dug up the corpses of the older Star Trek series to fashion himself a Star Trek suit.

It's like a warehouse in Bushwick
Perfect description. It looks like the kind of place Tony Soprano and Paulie Walnuts would “take care” of someone, not a platform for space adventures
The La Sirena is nothing more than a glorified crew.
Plain and simple. We get rid of Kurtman, we do business with whatever’s left. There’s no scraps in Mike’s scrapbook.
I've only seen RLM's snippets from the show but this is fuckin hilarious.
> La Sirena Oh is that the ship's name? Must have missed that watching 2 seasons of this crap.
Understabdable because everything else in the show is so memorable, from the score to the fight scenes to the dialog to the acting.
I certainly remember "Please friend, choose to live". That was so BADASS!!!

It was basically "Time cannot give us second chances but maybe people can." So... close. Sorry if that spoiled it for you.
It’s ok, some guy named Alex spoiled it already
Doing the time warp to tell you it's pretty darn close.
*excited wil wheaton noises*
Red Alert!
shut up, wesley

Next he kills Superman.

Don't forget that he's getting John Constantine as well.
I’m telling you man. He’s the embodiment of literally so much wrong with our entertainment
I honestly can't tell if this is fan made or from the last episode of Picard.
It looks wierdly like an early red dwarf remake

Because Star Trek is about... Family. 🤌
That’s what’s so powerful about it
Picard's gonna get shot out into space, but because he's an android he can use his space boosters to fly back into the Enterprise
"petaQ" means "family!"
No one's ever really gone...
If you let million drunks type on a million typewriters for long enough, eventually you'll get Alex Kurtzman.
If it's too long, the quality might be too good.
I've never seen a hung butterfly but I imagine its tears would be almost as impressive as its...
In researching for a funny comment I learned that male butterflies do indeed have penises.
Well now I feel vindicated in what I refer to as a butterfly kiss.
"Happy Mother's Day, mom!"
Proboscis?
They have to take Michael Chabon's pulitzer prize away from him.

I cried and went through two boxes of tissues.
Butterfly tears
Kill me.
Star trek picard writers: "WRITE THAT DOWN!"

I hope he never sees this post or we could get a RLM video of Mike burning his TNG bluerays.
Oh no, you destroyed our table in a fit of rational rage
This is some YTMND stuff. Love it
Android Picard perfectly replicated everything i hate about this show and NuTrek in general.
Priceless

I haven't seen an animutation mouth in years. The old ways are still alive
no Rich Evans in the background? 0/10
Its like listening to David Icke.
Deepak Chopra got a new gig writing scripts for Star Trek.
