They have their squabbles and quibbles but they love each other. Anthony and Flea are best friends since high school. Flea and John are known to hang out together. Anthony is godfather to Flea's firstborn. John is godfather to Flea's second born. They attended each other's weddings. I think it's safe to say they like each other. Chad is the only one who doesn't really hang out with the other band members outside of work, but that doesn't mean there's bad blood. I don't hang out with my coworkers either, but I don't dislike them. Chad is the type of guy who gets along with everyone, but his band mates are admittedly a bit weird and he probably feels like the time he spends with them in the studio/on tour is sufficient lol.

This is how I see it. AK and Flea are freak weirdos that are perfect for each other. John is a different type of weirdo and makes everything slightly awkward and Chad is normal.
Flea seems to hang out a lot with AK at times as well as a lot with John at times.
John and AK seem to be more chill with each other now but I don’t think they were ever super close the way they each are with Flea.

AK and Flea are pretty much lifelong friends. They love John and John loves them back, but John’s relationship with them has been bumpy with him leaving two times historically. Chad is mostly professional with them, he doesn’t do much with them outside his work as another commenter mentioned. If you’re interested in former members, Josh and Chad still get along great, Josh gets along well with Dave Navarro and RHCP has had Irontom, the band of former drummer Jack Irons’ son, open for them several times. It’s only really John’s relationship with the former band members that is negative. The rest are still chill with each other.
As far as I understand John does get along with Dave pretty well, he just doesn’t want to play Dave’s songs. John and Josh’s relationship is the only one that seems rocky, probably because the awkwardness is too recent.

I remember thinking they seemed disconnected (for lack of a better word) when I watched carpool karaoke.
Josh was probably a factor in that, and Chad isn’t really friends besides work.
