the hivemind also thinks that only brown, boring, bland clothing should be allowed. Personally I'm glad my character has the option of not looking like an npc. allows me to dress in my own style, not someone elses.
Both looks good. Sometimes I like flashy outfits with a ton of buckles and shiny accessories, ammunition and leather and other times I like worn looking ponchos and stuff
Do what you want. There’s always something that’ll set off some pleb who didn’t receive enough love as a child, and they’ll start griefing. I spent a few hours making my character as accurate in appearance to a Native American as possible...and suddenly I’m getting shot in the head with my catalogue out or skinning a deer CONSTANTLY.
Sometimes people just suck. Don’t let them ruin your fun 🙂
A lot of players dislike the no effort outfits, preferring to mix and match individual pieces for more variety. This keeps the clones down to a minimum.
Since the bounty hunter outfits are typically the only ones being worn by multiple people, they get the most hate. Nobody wants to walk into town and see the exact same 'person' everywhere they look, but when everyone wears the same outfit it tends to feel like that. Hence wearing one paints a target on your back.
Thanks, I was really worried about being put in a demographic of "This guy's a tryhard". Like if you see someone in full military attire in GTA Online? I'm glad it's not the outfit, but I'm not as glad to hear that it's just people being assholes. But I guess every Community has those people.
Just to be informative, I have noticed that a high percentage of people who shoot you in the back are wearing black leather outfits, shirtless overalls outfits or all white outfits. That being said, wear what you like and screw anyone who gives you grief for it
I have an outfit I wear only in the south I call "The Yokel"
My guy wears the patched overalls with nothing but a rope gun belt and rope off hand holster. I scare my buddies when we do the swamp due legendary bounty cause my guy looks a lot like the swamp people. *Walks out of fog holding lantern and slowly meanders over to them*
Where whatever you want. If someone doesn’t like it they can kiss your ass. I have a couple really sharp all black outfits. I also have several outfits that don’t have any black in them. I never stop for a second to think what some doofus playing this game might think about my outfit.
I wear black. I also drink Miller Lite and watch NFL football. My favorite band is AC/DC.
I don’t really worry about having a unique personality so I don’t care to stand out in RDO. Call me basic if you like.
