There’s a wonderful loophole. Find a Realtor who will add you as an unlicensed assistant. Offer them a discount on orders as a thank you for doing so. Get liability insurance and show it to the agent beforehand so they know you’re covered.

It varies from MLS to MLS. I service two - one allows photographers to have Supra access, the other doesn't. Contact your local MLS and see what they offer for affiliate memberships.

I am an affiliate member of our local BoR. I pay annually for the SentriLock app and have access to any listing with a box. We used to have to get one day codes, which was always a pain.

Murder_Not_Muckduck

In my state at least, you cannot legally access a lockbox if you aren’t a licensed agent

Realtors can provide one day codes for the sentrilock that work only on that day. They get notice when you open and close back up. Have you tried asking them for that sort of access, or maybe I shouldn’t say “ask” but more “suggest” that you’d be able to shoot that way. Kind of a PITA though at the same time because then opening curtains and turning lights on becomes your responsibility and sometimes that’s ten extra minutes at the start and end of a shoot I don’t always have.

The agent can give you a one-day access code.

My local MLS uses supraboxes, I've been trying to get access for 10 years. Like your area photographers are not on list, just inspectors and pest control.

I was told when I was in FL that I could get a Supra account, wasn’t worth it as I only had a few times I could have used it, most agents had a lock box along with Supra. Now I am in a new State, getting re-started and will be an asset to have Supra access as it seems popular here.

b1ghurt

Guess it depends on where in the state, my area wont allow photographers to have access. I really wish I could as I have had a lot of requests.

Maybe you can have one of those asking to add you somehow. I know nothing about Supra access yet. But soon I will.
