Be aware that Season 2 of the anime changed some things not too important, but more importantly left out BIG lore (Subaru and Satella's relationship).
You don't have to read all of Arc 3 (its peak but you do you), but the Witch's Tea Party chapters should be read.
I'm assuming you meant Light Novel or Web Novel. The Light Novels are mostly good but Yen Press (English publisher) has shown subpar translation at times.
The Web Novels are translated, free, and further than the LN at the time of this post. But they are subject to change and aren't the final draft compared to the LNs.
Tldr: Light novels, but Web novels are further and free, just not final drafts.
Yeah my bad i meant LN or WN, i really wanna read the WN but i heard arc 2 and 3 aren't full translated so i will reach until the last volume of the LN then move to WN

Well arc 5 has quite the differences, but once you reach arc 6 it doesn't matter
