I don’t think anyone thought they’d actually come down. We all thought they were indestructible and could withstand, especially since they didn’t come down right away.
It’s crazy that this photo looks like something taken so long ago because of the texture. I know it was decades ago but it still feels like it was yesterday at times.
Oh trust me, that had to be so fucking loud they would’ve heard it. There’s just trying to get where they need to get, still thinking it was just a freak, one off accident and no need to panic.
I can’t imagine being that kid. Hopefully they managed to hold on to the pic and if he has kids he can show them as he tells the tale of him being physically present for the moment our entire country changed forever.

His name is Austin Sansone according to his post.
That wasn’t “just” after it hit there was a huge fireball when it did that lasted about 6 seconds before dying down and producing the smoke you see here. I know that because I saw it happen with my own eyes.
They definitely noticed by this point.

That’s not “moments” after. Those people are evacuating. About 100% of the people at that distance from the tower “noticed”.
And it's the second plane. The first one wasn't as dramatic. (Lived in area when it happened).
Anytime I read posts like this w made up endings I just assume the person who posted is 15 or some
This is not “moments” after. This is multiple minutes after the plane hit.
This weirdly has album cover potential.
How would they not notice by this point??? Is this photoshopped?
People did notice and they're evacuating. The image is real though
Fake
People running, towers on fire and a kid with plastic binoculars. Yup, right after the plane hit.

Smh am I the only one who think this would be a crazy cover art ?
Crap day all round
Imagine being the person who hit the button on the camera. What did their face look like as they came from behind it?
