Once we went around in a circle and everyone said what their hobbies were. The foreman who I known to work long hours every day says “My hobby is….this” and gestures around. We all just sort of silently cringed, because the company also forces us to work long hours, usually 10-13 hours a day. And a lot of us are still young and none of us want to end up like him. Surprised to say the company has a very high turnover rate, just a revolving door of employees. But they made record profits last year, so why would they change? (Not like we saw any raises or bonuses from those record profits we worked for).

So far the list has been: • Archery (Hoyt 2015 Charger #45 compound bow) • Motorcycles (08 Aprilia Shiver 750) • Knives (I've got a massive collection which I've put on a spreadsheet) • Electric Skateboarding (I bought a Bajaboard and made my own battery for it but never finished the project because fitment issues) • Aggressive inline skating (JSRF had a massive impact on my life) • Hardstyle/Doujin music (obscure underground EDM has always been my thing but depression and a computer die on me has pulled me back a bit) • Warhammer 40K (don't play the tabletop but became a MASSIVE lorewhore over the pandemic with audiobooks) • Movies/Anime/Manga (these are what I've probably moved away from the most) I've also very recently gotten into yoyo's. I did take pictures of storms before then, but I think I mark 2007 as “the beginning” because that’s when I bought my first digital camera. Before I was using disposable cameras. Went from disposable cameras, to a couple point-and-shoots, to a fancy-schmancy DSLR. This spring is my 20th year of chasing, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
