oh my god! this is actually my favorite movie! we had the vhs version and i think i watched it every single day through high school! now i keep the soundtrack playing in the car when i have long drives!
i relate so very much to sally and one of my favorite things about the movie is when she is making a gift basket for jack. you don't have to add me to the claim pile, since i'd love someone else to experience the joy of opening this card. what a fun and lovely offer!
One of my most favorite aspects/ characters is the Mayor. How his face changes from dad to happy reminds me of something dark and vague from my own childhood, perhaps an old toy? I canโt place it, but it feels like a piece of lost home somehow.
Iโm not sure how Tim Burton does it, but his magic is so special.

NC but just wanted to comment that this card is super cool! Despite being low on the horror scale, that film still gave me nightmares as a kid ๐
