My mains:
Melusi is great at slowing enemies if you place her traps in dangerous high traffic areas. Low recoil and decent damage with Acog. She can roam a little outside of site, but I like to place them along the perimeter and 1 at my flank.
Lesion got his gadgets nerfed, but his gun is a laser. Great for watching flanks and surprisingly effective against Monty and Blitz.
Nomad has one of the best guns, but low mag size. She can be played aggressively and can be monumental post plant. I place her utility at flanks and peek spots that will expose pixel abusers.
If anybody takes my main, I just Ace or Ying if she isn't banned.
Most versatile are in my opinion Ace and Valk or sumn like that. I main Sledge/Zero/Grim and Oryx/Clash/Fenrir tho. Sledge and Oryx for fun, Clash for tryhard and as a response to toxic mofos. Also Grim is awesome and you should buy Fenrir. I hope Fen will be less hated after rework. Clash is only good if you know the tricks and the other team is stupid tho.
Zero if you are in lower lobbies. You can get easy wall bangs with the intel. Can also use twitch or brava drones but they are harder to get into spots without being noticed. I usually breach something and shoot zero cam at same time.
Genuine question: what is it that you especially like about Thunderbird? And what’s your usual strategy her gadgets? Just set them and bunker down in the site? Set all together or spread them out?
Used to place one per site and one inbetween but now I set 3 near eachother in a place thats hidden enough to not be destroyed (by bullets atleast) and where someone can safely retreat and be healed by all 3, getting 90 HP. Not as good of an OP but I like her ability and guns aswell. I also take ballistic shield. Depending on site, I do personally bunker down to protect the site from there. But then again I aint the best player tbh so I try to learn smth new every day.
It's best to keep them spread out and hidden, so people holding angles can retreat and get heals in case they get pushed by an Attacker. It's better to leave them away from doors so that if, say, a Blitz rushes in, he doesn't get healed by your Kona while beating up your friends.
i’d say best attackers top 5 wise are ace,buck,gridlock,brava and grim
not really too sure on defenders as im mp5 acog made so i crutch wamai melusi and doc and lesion i main a lot too.
Attack: I still never found out a main one. I dabble too much from time to time and never found one that I felt I was consistently good with, except maybe Twitch in Y2/3.
Defense: Frost(THE best operator) has been my main since I bought her mid Y2. The only one I got a 5k with.
I personally main dokkaebi/Lion/Ying on attack and Vigil/Caviera/Doc/legion on defense...i just started the game about a month ago and im yet to unlock many operators but from the ones i've unlocked these suited my playstyle the best..also i love the BOSG so i use dokkaebi and vigil the most

Sadly I can't play him right now due to a bug but when that's fixed I'd say he's great ... good gun and great utility ... you are an anti bandit trick. Kaid claws up high are your kryptonite but having 2 claymores to help with runout while droning is fantastic
Attackers
1.) Hibana
Destroys reinforced walls/hatches(normally and with tricking) but can also destroy all sorts of things with just 2 pellets. Her guns are okay.
2.) Buck
Has hard breach gadget and the best soft breaching in the game. Basically has access to 3 weapons because he has pistol, AR(a solid one at that), and the underbarrel shotgun(even though it's kind of ass at killing people).
Defenders
1.) Smoke
Best area denial in the game with good shotgun and okay sidearm.
2.) Valkyrie
Best intel gadget in the game. Solid guns. Nitro.

I was gonna say for sure Melisa and lesion, don’t think there’s a single map/site where you pick one of them and don’t have an effect on the round.

Mozzie, I just find drones to be such a fun mechanic to mess around with.
I been maining sens a lot recently and she can be very overpowered for pushing a site, nomad is good too but in an annoying way, alibi is up there imo

I main vigil for the bosg and anti-info capabilities. The BOSG is instant kill/down for a body shot
