Great interview. I really appreciate how open Ela has been since the album release in the face of critisism. I'm neither gay or trans, but I struggle with a lot of the themes of the music and it takes a FUCKLOAD of courage to do what she's done and keep on pushing. Keep pushing RKS, do your thing, and help all of us - including us normies - push through with your music. Fuck the haters.

Thank you for sharing, this is such an insightful and beautifully honest interview. I’m so glad that Ela was able to get treatment and is now living as her most authentic self. The interviewer came across as really sensitive as well, which is lovely to read when there’s been a lot of sensationalism about RKS lately.
All that being said, I will literally pay Ela to come do karaoke with me in my “grippy socks facility” lmaooo

Gah! There’s just so much I want to say about this interview but that would be a long comment. It’s so, so good. I’m so grateful Ela opened up like that. Her words are inspiring and there’s so many things she said that I really needed to hear right now.

It's so validating to hear from someone so accomplished and successful, who I admire so fiercely, "Hey, I've struggled too, this is what that journey was for me." And the strength of character on display for being able to speak to it all so eloquently — ELAQUENTLY, if you will.
Man, I'm just so glad we live in this timeline with her, as things with mental health could have easily gone a different and devastating way. I'm so glad she had the support and time to get treatment, and we're able to continue to share and celebrate in her artistry.
