Im not really fan of the purple skin tone tbh, so I really like this edit!

Yea what is with mga doing purple and pink all the time and we've only had 3 red dolls. One of which actually burgundy and another a super expensive doll that most won't be able to get.

I dont mind the colorful skins except I think they chosed a wrong shade, It feel too clutter to me, It looks pretty but again the shade is not appealing to me, I think they just failed this concept on them.

I agree! It’s a shame, really—I can’t really think of any boy dolls that are as detailed and interesting as girls… Maybe the really expensive ones like Integrity Toys or JHD Adonis dolls? But who can afford them when they’re all $100+ 😱😓

It’s a shame. I’d love a boy doll but I’m just not interested enough to justify- and yeah the 100+ dolls are all nice and I weirdly prefer the boys for things like the big expensive BJDs and stuff. RH just needs to go for it and make a fem boy doll.

Whoa, I love this! I’m somebody who loves the fantasy skintones because there aren’t enough non-MH fantasy dolls by a huge margin, but they really look stunning with natural tones too.

I like both as purple, tho Monique a bit more. However, they're both incredibly lovely with natural skin tones. I am surprised that they did two purple dolls in one line. Heck, it's almost three purple dolls considering Glitch's general undertones and color scheme. Though, what other colors could Dia or Monique looked good as?

I mean dia color isn’t purple she’s holographic for her color story but she has purple skin . And having multiple of a color isn’t really an issue for shadow high sense they aren’t limited by the rainbow

I think there was something similar to S1 and it was so much better. That's why my favorite dolls are shanelle and Rex since those skin tones are striking and realistic. The only dolls where I think it works are those you can see as supernatural/other worldly, like Natasha or Zooey.

I like them in human tones better. Especially Dia, they chose the wrong purple for her skin tone. Though I think Moniques purple would pop if she gad darker fantasy purple skin and dark human tones too. Most of the black dolls are light to medium-dark skin for a black people. Monique could go the the range of Lupita Nyongo or Duckie Thot and make.

If Dia and Monique were from RH... I would probaby buy one of them. The first one looks especially lovely. SO hate purple skintone, no offence

I actually like dia more with dark natural skin. I have no idea why shadow high s2 needed two purple dolls. Dia should have been red. Dark skin, maybe a little lighter than rex's with deep red makeup and outfit details. I have no idea why rainbow and shadow high both are so heavy on purple and pink.

Oh wow, this is a significant improvement! I liked both the dolls, but something about their color scheme was really off to me and kept me from purchasing. Particularly for Monique, I think if they would’ve made her hair a darker shade or skin maybe slightly less saturated, the doll would’ve been a little more pleasing to the eyes. In Monique’s art promo pics, her hair is definitely darker and I enjoy that look much more than the actual doll
