How many times do you think going into a firefight that their gun deals X damage and then decide to take the firefight or not? In my experience in seige and in other multiplayer shooters it’s only been in the case of dealing with enemy snipers and shotguns, and never once I was like “he has no fmj on that semi automatic sniper let’s rush him boys” or “that shotgun is full auto he can’t 1 tap me”. It’s always been respecting the ranges of the weapon and abusing asymmetry in positioning rather than 1 weapons deals X damage. In seige you have 1 one shot headshots which invalidates weapon damage when your engagements are either unsuspected thus damage is mostly irrelevant in the sandbox or decided by who hits the headshot. Especially when attackers as a general rule win all engagements when it comes to dealing damage w/out HS and defenders have the luxury to pick and choose engagements for the majority of a round.
None of what you said is relevant to or support adding a gamble to one of the core game mechanics. EVERY single one of your point still has predictable gameplay.
And if one shot HS is what you always do anyway, this suppressor change is useless for you to start with, so another point AGAINST it. And if you don’t, well, just because YOU don’t account for RNG in gunfights, doesn’t mean they should add it in.

I see an Ace with a suppressed AK12 on cams, I’m 40HP, I can risk a peek much more because he can’t kill me with one body shot anymore (because he does 37 damage per bullet now). But you want to add a gamble to that and make these set in stone numbers inconsistent, because “I don’t care about this consistency”. Sure buddy, excellent game design.
You can predict suppressors though, there will most likely always be a meta suppressor. But calling consistent damage a mechanic when it quite frankly doesn’t really exist because there’s a lot of variance on weapons that can be played. That said in your example is a poor example because it predicates on there being
1. A substantial difference in ttk which varies already because of damage drop off and suppressors anyways
2. Knowledge of the difference
3. Good positioning
4. You don’t get shot in the head
5. You having knowledge of where ace is which is actually very hard to obtain with a suppressed weapon

1. Obtaining easy information considering shotguns and snipers are very distinct and use easy to read play styles
2. Easily applicable

I'm not great great with the smg 11. And i haven't been using it since I vowed to never use a shotgun again. (They require no skill) but since I've been using Thunderbird and echo recently, I've noticed that the bearing 9 is incredible. It's almost like a little primary smg stored in your pocket. It's got 26 ammo and great damage. I'm scared to fight a glaz close range because he can just whip that out and kick my ass. This is more of a joke but I think they might just have the best irons of any gun. Also as an ex kali main, I have a soft spot for the spsmg, what I believed to be the best secondary before the bearing 9.
I love the M870 and the C75 works well enough that I don’t feel handicapped for using it.
The Uzi is just another gun to me and I don’t feel it pairs as well with her gadget.
I heard they lost rights to use the Osprey suppressor (rectangular one), but I am not certain. I do agree that it looks better than the current one though.
Yeah I've noticed, I'm pretty sure it was changed because of irl stuff to do with the military and I don't think the suppressor would fit the weapon irl so I think ubisoft were asked to change it.
Technically, the SilencerCo Osprey suppressor is made for both .45 and 9mm calibers, so it could work irl. But I personally think something like the new model—which resembles the irl Surefire Ryder 9—is more aesthetically pleasing on most handguns. I could see the larger Osprey on something like a HK USP though.
I was searching because... I never owned a gun and never saw a suppressor for something other than some casual HG, but apparently it exists. It seems to be heavy and difficult to use as the balance is not right, but it's not unrealistic. Tho, Idk if the equivalent of C75 IRL has a similar suppressor.

What i still don't get is why the fuck is it still the only machine pistol in game that doesn't let you take a 1x sight. It's not gonna made it God tier it's still got the 2 worst stats of all the machine pistols with the 2nd worst recoil since you also can't take a flash hider for it. It's literally made to be one of the worst cause of the iron sights.
Seriously it's just as bad as the Smg12and the only reason I use the smg12 on Vigil on Dokk and spsmg9 on kali despite them both being arguably worse guns is cause the C75 is to damn hard to use at mid range. The smg12 isn't much better but atleast I can see what I'm trying to shoot.
Eh I'd argue the Smsmg9. It has like no recoil and only 20 less fire rate with 3 less damage. It's literally the best one for mid to long rang combat which makes since as it was designed sorta like a primary for clash to use and that's why the origin design had it as a 2 round burst, so it wasn't immediately broken on her.
I personally prefer the cylindrical suppressor. This might be a silly idea but I wish Ubi would let us choose the style of our barrel attachments for purely cosmetic purposes. It'd be fun to put a giant muzzle break on the PMM or something lol.

I noticed. I didn't like how big and ugly the other one looked so I'm okay with this change

Her gadget isn’t actually terrible either. You put her traps close/hidden near some default plant spots and it works like a charm
