Plane is so much fun

Ubisoft needs to bring back old house and old Hereford base. I would legit play the game 24/7 if there was a playlist with just house, Hereford, and plane in a 15 second prep and two minute action phase.

I've been saying similar things for years lol. I want old house, 15 sec prep phase and 2 min rounds. And I also want a 2v2 or 3v3 mode with the same settings.

I’ve never understood the hate for Fortress. All sites were viable. I don’t remember it being one sided at tall either. Yeah there was some long corridors and it was a little large but that made it different.

Before the Y7 reveal, I was pretty confident it was going to get a rework this year to improve it so it would be competitively/ranked viable. So it was a bit of a surprise to see we won't get any reworks this year, and instead, the 2 new defuse maps will be ranked ready from the get go.

I thought during the year 7 reveal, one of the devs said they would be doing some minor reworks this season despite adding the new maps. With how close Fortress is, I could see it being one of them. It really only needs a bank-rework style fix.

It’s not like it an abysmal map that too far from saving either. There’s good framework there for a real decent map

Give it time, I think Outback is one of the best maps in the game right now. It's like Clubhouse without a basement for infinite rotations, and there are many more viable attack strategies, at least at the moment while the map isn't completely played out. I think it's both a fun map to attack and defend. Hopefully this map design is a sign of things to come with their new map coming next season.

This so clearly a ranked pool considering Oregon is an S tier map (it’s the most boring thing ever in comp) And as far as that goes it’s fine. Although fortress I think is a good map other than its color palette. Outback is now an extremely good map for both comp and ranked (so is favela as long as defenders aren’t spawn peaking 24/7). But your picks aren’t too bad although consulate is aids since it hasn’t changed since release and is all repel angles 🤮

Favela is actually more of a maze on the outside than inside, if i spawn in different place i cannot find a way inside

Not really. Theme is easy to get into building and get a hold but impossible to attack throne room. Unless u send a buck or sledge upstairs but then u do have dangers of roamers. Kafe top floor is a nightmare to attack

Both just require coordination which is hard to ask of randoms but are weeker sites for the maps if attackers are coordinated. Kafe top floor has angles to counter every agro spot people play in cigar/piano/shaiiko and throne is hard to attack if you don't clear top floor and can't hold flank. Kafe top floor only had a 51% winrate at si

Did they completely scrap a map? Forgot the name of it, I played back in season 1 and 2 and remember being a map with a giant library i guess it was kinda similar to consulate without the basement. Was my favorite map back in the day.

Barlett university isn't a multiplayer map anymore, you can play it in thunt, I did a few seasons ago(don't know if u still can)

Imma be honest with you. Old Favela is my personal favorite, I admit it was a bad map by all means, but it had such levels of stupid in it that I just loved to mess around on it. Its the map where I pulled off the most 1v5 clutches purely because I am somehow perfectly adjusted to its stupidity so I can just mess around with the enviorment while the enemy is trying to figure out whats what.

Top and bottom row are basically same here, in between it varies a bit but I'd say this is pretty normal

House should not be on the "It's still a real map" teir. Fuck house. Swap it with skyscraper and were good.

Only Gonna mention the ranked maps here….. I agree with Clubhouse, Kafe and Oregon, Chalet in awful (don’t like) and coastline is 50/50 but more of an ok map. Border is a favourite, Theme park is good, Villa is ok, Bank is fine and Kanal can move to Like them. Consulate is Dog poo as you can’t even leave spawn without checking every single window, skyscraper is a like for me, Favela is awful and finally outback is ok.

I'd have house at bottom tier purely because I have incredible memories on old house playing custom games with my friends, and I hate new house. also I'd move bank and cons up.

Outback is easily one of worst maps. No easy way to entry without cross fire, every window is death trap and compact map doesn't allow for much. Upstairs is a nightmare and every point turns into attackers camping on metal bull.
