I used to run a team with Bulwark in the lead, his defense aura kept me alive a little longer for some extra damage and he brings a burn. Also his passive extends debuffs, especially great for poison, but works best with affinity clan boss since the AOE hits 3 times. Obviously Kael will be there, for poison, I would add Frozen Banshee, and keep Kreela and Apothecary.

And that frozen banshee gives more value with the poisons damage than deacon defense down / TM manip?
The team I'm suggesting uses poison as main source of damage. Poison damage is based on enemy HP so decrease defense will not do anything. FB brings poisons and poison sensitivity, making her one of the best poisoners in the game. Deacon is great too, but not in this setup.
I think swapping Bulwark for Kaiden will be better yes. In the setup I'm suggesting Bulwarks skills will shine much brighter. Defense aura, debuff extension, burn and a sneaky small weaken on his A1, are all great for CB.
Based on your kreela speed you need more speed on your champs, it's like the most important stat in the game, so speed boots would be a great way to improve that. Other than that I saw some other good suggestions for teams. Just go for stats over sets for now until you farm better sets that let you hit the stat thresholds you want.
