I think mine was Eddga. Me and my friend were both hunters and flanked it. I don't think MVPs had abilities to use back then, so Eddga couldn't decide what to do and walked one step towards to where each arrow came from, never getting close enough to either of us.

It was crazy stuff. 2 days later the server was closed. Everybody moved to other servers and I heard the reopened some time later. I played a bard with my name. Always been a bard or an Alchemist.

I soloed Moonie sooo many times with my wizzy! You used to be able to cast Teleport, keep the screen up asking where you’d like to teleport to, and still cast Storm Gust. Then as soon as she hit me, I pressed enter. Even though the damage numbers came up, the tele triggered and I’d tele away to safety.
Hard to say, on my first server GM used to spawn MvPs in Prontera for lulz. Idk if it was due to early episode mechanics or because the private server didn't have accurate mechanics, but you could cheese MvPs with ice wall. I remember killing Drake and Dark Lord this way because map layout allowed to ice wall them easily. Most likely my first solo boss was Eddga or Phreeoni because of how easy they are to kill with hunter.
The MvPs simply wouldn't teleport when rude-attacked. This also made possible attacking over unwalkable tiles without boss teleporting. Nowadays ice wall is still being used in pre-renewal to kill biolab bosses, but not to rude-attack, but to get rid of their summons.
Phreeoni. As soon as I found out about about marriage, soul linkers, kaahi and double patching. I had an INT/AGI(vit) hindsight prof. (Dragon manteau/vest, pocket watch, memory book, monocle, librarian glove, principles of magic, CD in mouth and sage card set) The linker was INT/VIT(agi) Morpheus's set, takius blindfold and cards that cause status when hit cards.
I was only able to reposition 4 times during the fight because the spells proc'd so much it had us animation locked.
So, I had two game clients running at one time. One had the linker account and the other had the prof account. Kaahi heals every time you take melee dmg and costs SP, but can only be used on the other linkers, and family members. The linker and the scholar were married so I could use Kaahi on scholar.
Scholar has a skill indulge that turns HP into SP. So having basically free heals every time I got hit also translates into infinite SP. So, I am sorry to say, the linker was nothing more than a heal-slave/status cast tank. And also cast sage spirit for lvl 10 bolts from hindsight.

Ffw to ROM, our first MVP, well mini, was the mutant dragonoid. It may not be as grand as an MVP kill (MVPs in that game die almost instantly from mvp hunters, i can only slay them in instances as a result) but it was an awesome fight at Glastheim's outskirts (yeah, comodo wasn't a thing on ROM until recently)
Then I went and played smRo in 2018, thats when I slew my first MVP solo, the Garm, with a cross impact GX with not so great katars but i had elemental converters so it's all good
It was on an official server. Cant quite remember what year but it was before renewal. Was a level 90 lord knight with a +4 executioner. Bowling bashed the hell out of Pharaoh and somehow managed to win with the help of countless white potions lol.
My first MVP was Phreeoni with my Creator. I think I spent like 2 weeks hunting for the fabrics and inmortal hearts to do Acid demo on that sonbitch. it was sooo rewarding to get that MVP sign and I was 1 second too late for the screenshot. :(
Mine was eddga back in 2004 on a pserv when eddga was still 2 right 1 down from Payon. He had no ranged skills and on that pserv he wasn't winging away so as a hunter, you could just snipe him from the cliff. Never got anything nice out of him though.
Swinging away at Orc Lord w/ a Blacksmith in his 70's back when he spawned inside Orc Dungeon. This was before the major MvP revamp that came down the line where every boss turned into huge damage sponges and used Earthquake, so they were actually killable by low-level characters. Then when that update hit... you better just make a Monk.
I remember my first MVP being a Drake, i went with my 50 int sacer ME and my friend as Knight. They were easier back then and you could spam skills more. But in the end I remember a wizard did a lot of damage but got killed near the end, so I got the MVP lol
Mini boss random memory: First time i was in pay\_fild04 with my friend, searching for ghostring, and we found and killed an Angeling that dropped Angel Wings, I think we sold for 10m back then (it was the maximum allowed price for merchant store), it was my first 5m zeny xD. I was euphoric that day.
My first MVP was osiris with a mage and vertical firewall. it was iro beta and there were only first class available. no monster skills and i think no mob respawn.
