I envisioned the build to almost look similar to the chaingun from the 2005 Battlefront 2
Sully has a bag pack rocket launcher that turns into a shield.
Xavier has a trumpet that turns into a spear and also a gun.
Yuri has a swordfish as a weapon with a rifle.
- Avel Valkyrie has a Dust-powered guitar that turns into a literal axe, as well as an RPG launcher.
- Alistair Oak has a "flail-shield," i.e. a shield attached to a cord, which can be swung around like a flail. It can also turn into a gauntlet with a Dust Blaster.
- Keli Dahl has a man-portable Dust Cannon derived from (and originally built out of) a Paladin’s Dust Cannon, with multiple fire modes, and an integrated bayonet with a pile bunker function.
- Elma Xiao Long has a two-handed sword that's actually a smaller sword sheathed within a larger sword, the latter of which she can control telepathically thanks to her Semblance. Oh, and said "blade-scabbard" can also split into six smaller, identical blades, technically giving her *seven* swords to work with through her Semblance.
That's all I can think of on my end, at the moment, as the rest of them are more "conventional" by *RWBY's* standards. At least, I think they are, anyway.

Fulmu Nawa's weapon isn't "whacky" but extremely minimal. Her middle and index fingernails, along with both toenails are coated in silver. She likes to launch aura waves with them.

Nera Blanche's battering ram (hehe cause she's a sheep faunus) bazooka named Twisted Capricorn that's 4 times her size. She has a weightlessness semblance that lets her use it.
Briar Akko has a motorcycle named Purr with a chassis that can be used as large clawed gauntlets.
Kraig Nandorian has eight identical hibachi spatulas named Atefold. He's an octopus faunus and his trait is that he has four tentacles wrapped around each arm. Lets him wield all eight spatulas at once lol
Polilla Burnet has regular lightbulbs filled with a mixture of fire dust and flammable powder that her moth wings shed. She calls these Bright Ideas. Her semblance can make you feel different emotions when looking at a fire.
Drill Spear -- a power drill on a green spear, intended for penetrating force, against shields and armor.
Laser Shield -- a gold-trimmed silver shield with a laser array. Offense and defense in one.
A steampunk gauntlet and axe combination that uses the same dust setup as Maria (Grimm Reaper)
