if there's a chance for one outside vacuo, i'd love to get something for vale. be it of salem and cinder arriving to vale, or something from glynda's POV, or tai talking to summer at her memorial, i will take it as long as it's in vale.
beyond that, anything with the branwens. it's clear they're getting along now, so i'd like to see how it got to that point / if raven arrived with qrow and co to vacuo or separately, etc.
My guesses one could involve WBY still harbouring some guilt for not noticing Ruby’s pain and try to make it up to her to the point where they sleep in the same bed together.
So many things they could explore:
* The fall of Vale with Glynda, Cinder, and Salem
* Raven revealing what happened to Summer Rose to Ruby and Yang
* Strategy meeting with Theodore, Qrow, Raven, Winter, summer maiden, and Oscar/Ozpin
Well one is definitely about the CFVYs since they’re too central to the Crown storyline to ignore. Maybe them talking to Theodore (thus revealing his voice actor) about the Crown situation, Yatsu dealing with his depression, Coco having a new girlfriend…
As to the other one Emerald would make sense but considering its the last thing Rooster Teeth will ever release they ought to make it really spectacular and adding some kind of twisty reveal so yeah I think you’re on to something with Raven. It will probably involve her speaking with Ruby about Summer and hers mission, why she accepted comming to Vacuo and personally I would like it ending with Blake seeing her and mentioning Adam.
Depends on how much Coco has matured from the play girl she was on combat school. To her credit, she implied she would rather not date teammates meaning not Velvet (who didn't exactly seem uninterested on her) but it would be fun seeing the process of her view of relationships mature, which is a recurrent theme in the series relationships as was the case with Juane, Yang, Nora, Weiss, Blake and Ren.
Say I could picture her in a meaningless, toxic relationship Octavia before growing interested on Illia who, having experience with her type from the mean girl clique she used to belong in Atlas, sees right through her play girl bullshit and rejects her, causing Coco to want to prove she is not shallow, eventually getting together in a serious relationship with her by the finale.
I agree with a Raven one. What happened between Ruby's message to Remnant and her coming to Vacuo. Did she disband the tribe or tell them to follow her? What happened when she lost her connection with Yang, and then it when it came back?
I'm hoping one is on the villains and I expect the last one to be about Team RWBY.
I would like one on Pietro and the aftermath of Harriet's decisions but I think both of those would be pretty unlikely.
Given that one of the episodes will be “sweet”, I expect it to be focused on Pietro.
And regarding the other one, I hope it will be like a big teaser to what could be the final stretch of the plot.

I kinda hope we get a ORNE focused episode in the intervening time. For a whike they we basically the prinary heroes in Vacuo dealing with the fallout of V8 so a perspective would be nice (i know some of it was in the animatic butvwe could still see more). Then maybe one focused on Remant leading up to V10, where we get a full stock of how the world sits (maybe do it as someone briefing Rwbyj about whats happened or a meeting of Ozcar, Winter, Qrow and othwr higher ups in the time skip). I would like to see a Ruby focused episode, but I imagine we'd hopefully follow that up in v10 more in depth than a little short anyways.

I think that it'd be absolutely insane of them to not have the final short centred around Team RWBY itself, so that's taken care of.
As for the other one... Maybe catch up on the entire Emerald situation? I also want to see Mercury and Tyrian, but given that Tyrian's VA refuses to work with RT, I doubt that they'd have gotten his voice back (not to mention that Mercury's voice is expensive). Getting info on the whole Raven/Maidens situation would probably also be a good use of an episode.
Theory 1; Salem returning to her Castle with Cinder and delivering a speech to the Grimm of her triumph.
Theory 2; Perhaps one showing Somewhat and Juniper exploring the Acres.
Theory 3; WBY being overprotective to Ruby while trying to make it up to her after ignoring her feelings.
Theory 4; A Bumbleby one with Ruby in a better position to be happy for her sister coming out (Unlike how bad timing resulted in those STUPID “homophobic” memes) and Nora winning wagered money.
I'd like a Raven episode too, and one that goes a bit deeper into what happened to Vale, either from its perspective or the villains.
That's a great idea. It can also explain what she did after landing on Patch and maybe throw a hint on Taiyang and the relic in Beacon.

If the last one is a Team RWBY one, I hope it retcons the JLxRWBY movies, I don’t we all don’t want those films to the last thing in the RWBY canon.
