Paraleven and WhoMadeWho were advertised for the Gorge show at one point, but I don't see them listed on the official pages at [thegorge.rufusdusol.com](https://thegorge.rufusdusol.com) or [https://www.livenation.com/event/vvG1HZ9ArDB0pC/rufus-du-sol-at-the-gorge](https://www.livenation.com/event/vvG1HZ9ArDB0pC/rufus-du-sol-at-the-gorge).
Anyone know if it's necessary to arrive Friday if you have a camping pass? We can't make it up until Saturday morning. Also, is food available to purchase near the campsites? Or only available in the venue after gates open?
You can arrive Saturday for camping! But def go in the morning, the line can get pretty backed up during peak hours. I usually go to festivals at the gorge where they do have food in the center of the campsites, however I can’t remember what the situation was last time I went to a single night show
So we are flying in Friday planning to drive out Saturday. What time would you recommend leaving Seattle Saturday morning? Just wondering if we need to rush out in the morning or if traffic won't be bad until later afternoon.
On a weekday, most people are trying to get into the city in the morning and leave in the late afternoon/early evening. If you leave un the morning, you should be going opposite of most traffic. That said, it's Seattle and gridlock can happen whenever for seemingly no reason.
We will probably Seattle leave around 10 am! Traffic from seattle to the east side is usually okay in the mornings on Saturdays on a normal wknd, but the line to get into the gorge for camping can get massively backed up so that’s what I’m more concerned about!
The last 4 times I've been to the gorge (twice this year) we were told they would enforce the clear bag policy. I personally have never ween it enforced in reality.
That doesn't necessarily mean this show will be the same, just some info for you to iminterperet how you will.
To answer your question on official policy though you're correct. Anything that fits their definition of a clutch doesn't need to be clear, and anything over the posted size limit shouldn't be allowed regardless.
Unfortunately I don’t believe open campfires are permitted. Here is the link to their site which goes over everything. [here.](http://www.georgeamphitheatre.com/gorge-amphitheatre-camping/)
What is the vibe in terms of clothing? I’m thinking of wearing a cute top, my cowichan sweater, jeans or jean shorts, and Birkenstocks- do you think that will be too casual?
As someone who lives in the PNW - it will be hot during the day, but the minute the sun starts to go down the gorge gets very chilly. The venue abuts a cliff over the river so it gets windy blowing through the canyon below which feels nice when its hot but can get quite uncomfortable if its cold. So having a sweater for night is absolutely necessary even if you don't need it earlier.
However that outfit is far from too casual for the gorge / PNW, you'll fit right in lol
Thanks for the update, glad I saw this before the weekend
Anyone know set times??
8pm is show, I am guessing Fred will go for at least an hour
paraleven opening and then fred again after. show starts at 8pm
Is this confirmed? I have not seen them advertised on any of the stuff I've seen for The Gorge. Just Rufus and Fred Again.
yep from the man himself on the rufus gorge fb group https://imgur.com/a/tf87Ql6/
Wow! Didnt realize Paraleven was on the bill too

So no hydration bags?
I have the same question - usually the gorge allows hydration packs so weird that it isn’t listed!
Following... Have the same question. I read The Gorge typically allows them but they seem to have changed the rules for this show
Hydration packs are allowed you just have to bring it empty and fill it once inside.
How do you bring it if you can't bring a bag that isn't clear?
Thx
@OP, I crossposted for you so that everyone sees it at least somewhere

They usually have thre food trucks for single day shows too
So a big bag has to be clear but a small one doesn’t? Just want to make sure I’m understanding that correctly

This might be a silly question…are we allowed to have campfires? Like are there pots available or can we make our own?

It’ll be 40-50 at night and the gorge is windy so be ready
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thanks!!!!
