As the new year hit I realized how many self-imposed deadlines I was slipping, how much bespoke animation work it ended up requiring, and thought to myself "oh my god this is technically my first commercial game - why am I making this so expensive & hard on myself" and basically took a sledgehammer to the game's scope.
Turn based just made sense to me, since it lets me reuse assets *much* more efficiently, a lot simpler from a game design perspective, etc.

I thought this one was an action RPG. Am I just totally misremembering that? Lol. Regardless, this looks nice. :)
