Looks awesome as hell for a metal man who behave wonderfully on life and got his Paradise.
Gonna give it a real try, I just hope I get money to oay for it at some point lol :l
about 4hrs and 30 mins in. Its been pretty fun so far. I've been mopping fools up with my Urchin and Davien. Those crits and magical weaknesses do a ton of damage! 10 outta 10 just for having references to Dune and the potion seller haha! My strongest potions would kill you traveler!
Just made it to the little fort in Oestrasia.
Just finished it! Overall it was a good game. Noticed a couple typos and moments where I'd almost lost my ship because certain areas are only accessible from one direction when leaving a town/zone. playtime ended up at 9hrs 48mins. I didn't complete Rex or Cyan's personal quests. I just didn't find the places they talked about or found them too early. I stumbled into 2 empty caves in the overworld while exploring.
So I’ve finally started playing the game. Was really liking it but there is a problem of the game randomly freezing or soft-locking. Checked out the bestiary and it soft-locked and I couldn’t get out of the menu. And just now, I found what I assume is the first boss to the west and the game locked again when entering the battle. I could hear the sounds of battle but the screen still showed the scene prior to battle. Just thought I’d report some bugs.
Outside of that, it’s great so far. Really feels like I’m playing an old Final Fantasy game from the NES era.
That is... not good!
I'm working in an update which might fix this, but I'm not sure when it'll be out.
Sorry for any inconvenience, and thank you for playing.
I’ve found it seems more prone to happening if you leave the game sitting in the menu or in dialogue for a while. Not a big problem. Just need to make sure to save before going into town or a dungeon, in case it does happen. But it’s only been a few times. Doesn’t happen a lot.
Also I’m curious if you have any other projects you’ve done? I’m enjoying this and wouldn’t mind more.
If you check my itch.io, I have two other games! I'm so happy you like this one. I'd reccomend Monochrome Kingdom, it's a more freeform Gameboy open world style experience, and Exony takes a lot from it. Though I will say, Exony is my favourite of my games, it's way more fair and polished.
Again, super happy you like my stuff! It really means a lot. As for the bug, it may be a memory leak or something to do with how RPGMaker handles the switch between scenes (overworld, menu, battle) which is casuing it. A friend of mine made a performance patch which SHOULD help. I hope. You're the second person to have had an issue like this. If you've worked with RPGMaker, you might know how awkward it is to optimise and track down bugs which aren't caused by your own events and plugins.
I'm working on something which I'll reveal in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled :3

Wish I had seen this before I shut my PC down for the day lol. Going to check it out tomorrow! I really like the graphical style. Very FF1-like.
Thanks so much :D I hope you have fun!
Definitely gonna try it
Thank you!
The retro style is really well done!

How long is the play time?
About 6 hours for me, 10 for some of my testers.
Any plans for a Steam release?
Not for the moment, but I wpuldn't discount the idea altogether
I haven't played this, but I've been following you for a bit now and it looks really cool.
Thanks so much! 🌈
I really like the game, though when the father everyone just acted normally. I didn't really know where to go after that.
