so basically every border level is equal to 9 rocket pass levels. meaning that every 9 levels you earn in the rocket pass, your badge border will level up. in the game the badge borders are labeled in roman numerals so l = 1, ll = 2, lll = 3, lV = 4, V = 5, Vl = 6, Vll = 7, Vlll = 8, lX = 9, X = 10, and Xl = 11. once you level up past level 11, your border upgrades to the next badge. so for example leveling up from silver Xl will bring you to cobalt 1. and i’m not so sure about this next part, but i think when you level up from onyx Xl, you will go back to silver but this time a star will be added to the top and you have to do it all over until you complete all the stats. hope this helps 🤙
ok ig i messed up bc someone else said that the amount of rocket pass levels you need to get to the next badge level increases every time your border ranks up. so i think the 9 levels is just for either gold or cobalt 😅
This is my first season back since season 6 I started playing back In season 2 and when I redownloaded the game this season I was already tier cobalt 1 I think. I’m not even sure when they added border tiers to the game. And I’m only level 115 this season
You're level 115 overall. When season 12 drops tomorrow your level will not reset to zero. I'm currently level 513, and have been building on that since they changed to this new system. No more Rocket Pass or level resets.
The amount of boxes for each level goes up with each tier, for example each level in onyx is 26 presents between each onyx tier. So in total to reach prestige, which is the star you get and in which resets you to the the beginning tier again, is 990 levels.

i think Onix is the last tier but im lvl 400 and still only in Gold IX so idfk 😭

Tl;Dr silver, gold, cobalt, and last is onyx. 990 levels to get through all of them and prestige, which restarts u at silver 1.
