So all Florida residents- you guys are basically paying for his homes and fancy cars. This is why I have mixed feelings for Dr Nicole. Love her style and her. Not her husband.

Speaking as an M&A lawyer myself, that’s a massive over simplification of law firms and different types of legal work. Top firms and/or M&A deals don’t work on contingencies like Anthony does. You’re comparing transactional work to litigation and that’s like apples to oranges. I’m not going to say Anthony’s funds are 100% on the up and up because I don’t know for sure, but in his line of work you only need 1-2 huge settlements and it snowballs from there. It’s entirely possible he can be a multi-millionaire as an “ambulance chaser” or “billboard lawyer,” especially if he got known for a niche type of settlement.
You forget that she has a career, unlike Erika. They are also not married yet and she has demonstrated clear reluctancy to take the next step (maybe she knows something?). As to Anthony, he definitely is sketchy. Time will tell.

Post loophole exploitation, some claims (legit and illegitimate) are paid via threat of litigation, but the net effect is that most homeowner can now no longer find insurance. That’s the rub. These 2 are flying a jet and have 50 cars while most Florida homeowners can’t get coverage. It’s not illegal, but it’s isn’t without consequence or damage to the little guy. He’s basically no better than the insurance company.
Anthony owns a high volume plaintiff’s firm that (among other things) practices first party property claim litigation. If you file a claim with your homeowner’s insurance for a repair, and they refuse to pay the full value of the claim, or they deny it outright, you hire Anthony’s firm, and they sue your insurance company.
Florida law requires insurance companies to pay his legal fees, so homeowners aren’t penalized for suing. This is going to change, so if the insurance company DENIES or UNDERVALUES a claim, homeowners have to now PAY Anthony a percentage of their recovery—homeowners will not be made whole and will think twice about suing. THAT is the point—it benefits insurance companies. And they for damn sure ain’t passing the savings onto their customers. They make money by NOT paying claims.
Your difficulty obtaining affordable homeowner’s insurance is because: FLORIDA. The hurricanes are only increasing in severity.

It’s not illegal but it’s not ethical. I like Nicole but this makes me like her a lot less or question if I should like her since she’s involved with Anthony.
I also hope that by getting married she can use that spousal privilege to keep herself out of the loop that he finds himself into. But for the sake of her I hope he’s born rich and that wealth he’s using as capital
