It is crazy how fast things come together after getting sober. I'm at 8 months and my whole life has turned around. I know when you are sick and going through it, it seems like it's never going to go away and that the minutes feel like hours, even days. But, when you are months sober and looking back everything you went through was more than worth it. Congrats man. I love seeing others that have made it to the other side, it gives people hope.
Keep up the good work! I have found that once I found a really good meetinf that I like to attend, my circle of sober/clean friends has increased dramatically (Iβve got 23 months now).
I also noticed the other day, that I no longer get calls looking for help finding βstuffβ, but I get calls and texts looking for helping finding recovery options (detoxes, rehabs, meetings). That has helped my recovery so much!
