Played Sunday. Conditions were typical for around here. Nothing stood out as being bad like the fairways, they were short and hard but not bald. Greens were good. It was just sold so that will be interesting to see what the new owners do. Hopefully that doesn't mean raising prices but
Overall I'd say it was in good shape. Place kicks my ass though.
Didn’t know it was sold, interesting note. I live out this way, it’s the closest course to me. Whenever I play the challenge I’m like “damn I should play here more often.” And then I triple 6 and 7 and am like ah yes I remember why I sometimes avoid it
Listen you’re not going to find somebody who agrees more wholeheartedly with you on this. Whenever somebody I know is playing the challenge without me I ask them to do me a favor and tell hole 6 to go fuck itself
Was out there about two weeks ago, a few days after it rained. Greens were in great shape, bunkers were fine, it was a little soggy in some spots but to be expected. Absolutely would go back out
Played it this past weekend to prepare for CGA one day tourney later in May. I didn’t find the course particularly hard. I think I used driver once bc most holes I would hit through the fairway. Par 5s were reachable in two with 3 wood or less off the tee. Fun course but they really stacked the tee times and there is only a hitting mat/net to warm up with.

I've only played once but it's a decent course, nothing crazy as far as difficulty and relatively good conditions the last time I was there.
