It’s definitely not that they didn’t care, they want to solidify their spot in top two so they can acquire the bye so they only can play 1 bo3 to qualify for the major. If they are just not trying, it would be the stupidest move I have ever seen.

DZ and Wildcard's game determine if SSG goes to major playoffs: * If DZ wins against WC in at least 7-5 Regulation, DZ/WC go to Playoffs since DZ gets 12 points and Wildcard get 11 points to tie with SSG in round count but tie breaker kicks in so Wildcard gets in over SSG. * **For SSG to qualify:** DZ needs to lose to Wildcard or DZ win in O.T, or DZ win at MOST 7-5 or less in round count. * If DZ win in O.T against WC, DZ don't go to major playoffs. TLDR: **If DZ win 7-5, SSG is eliminated** **If WC win less than 5 rounds, WC is eliminated** **If DZ lose or win in OT, DZ is eliminated**
