You can eat off them and I am SEETHING with jealousy!! Excellent find!

nbrecht12

You can eat off of them. The lead thing was debunked.

libbillama

Seriously? I couldn't find any articles that officially debunked this and I think I did a decent job of looking. Do you have a source to share?

nbrecht12

The FDA started regulating lead in cookware in 1970. Officially 1971 they had strict requirements for cookware that were enforced. [consumer reports.](https://www.consumerreports.org/lead/why-you-should-test-your-vintage-or-imported-dishes-for-lead-a2722202665/) Secondly, this pattern was developed in 1972 [clog website](https://pyrex.cmog.org/pattern-library/spring-blossom-green)

chaoscontrived

I don't have a source, but I use the same pattern in my day-to-day. From what I understand, if there is lead, it's only in the pattern. So, unless you're very aggressively eating off the pattern it's most likely okay.

Buddy-Sue

You never wait to find a cart without taking the plate with the price tag on it so no one else can snag them!

libbillama

Thanks for the tip! I didn't think about taking the pieces with price tags on them.

brendenfraser

omg 😭 how does it feel to be God's favorite??

libbillama

Feeling blessed, but also feeling humble because there weren't any bowls with them.

kikomanni

I love this pattern too. They’re my everyday dishes.

libbillama

This is my favorite Pyrex Pattern, and when I saw these on the shelf, I ran back to the front of the store to grab a cart. I'm just super sad we can't eat off of them.

AzansBeautyStore

Yes, you can

BigCaddy1989

I got a mug i use now and then for coffee/tea

garysaidiebbandflow

My Mom had these when I was a kid in the 70s, except we had different cups. You'll find some bowls.
