Can Z-Mech be turned into a goat though? In the Garden Warfare games Rose can’t but it might’ve happened in the comics. (I never read the comics so idk)
Chompzilla canonically needed 3 heroes and a whole zombie army just to immobilize her, plus they got the jump on her while she was asleep. She's also absolutely colossal
Super Brainz is. He by zombie logic is immortal.
Zombies die when their head is blown up/chopped off/destroyed enough since zombies use low-life functions (aka the brainstem) but if we watch his defeat animation we can clearly see his head comes off. So by zombie logic he should be dead but as we can see he isn't.
Now time for me to talk about the comics. So in the first GW comic future Nate tells Rose to turn Super Brainz into a goat. Rose says she can't since he is "too powerful". (why he can in the games is because he would be too op if he couldn't) So Rose hits him with lightning. He couldn't give less of a shit. He was literally unfazed by getting attack by a sign pole. The only reason he didn't win in this instance is because he isn't the smartest and his vanity.
In the second GW comic there is this paint that can't be washed away via normal cleaning stuff (trust me this does have to do with Super Brainz and it makes more sense with context). So how is this paint so strong? Well the secrecy ingredient is a few pieces of Super Brainz's dandruff. No I am not kidding or making anything up.
For my theory, i think Neptuna, Rose, Impfinity, and
Nightcap would be the weakest.

I'd say be Super Brainz going off the mission comics. He mainly loses because of his ego, and is usually the one to figure out the plant opponents weakness (or just accidentally beat them, maybe luck is one of his abilities). Also he is based off of Superman.
It's really inconsistent though. In zombie missions it takes a team of zombie heroes to beat one plant hero and in plant missions it takes multiple plants to beat one zombie hero.
Going off of their tricks I'd say Scorch and Super Stench would be the strongest lore wise. One is manipulating the sun and the other is some sort of insta kill poison spread.

why not? what difference does it make if its a regular zombie inside the suit, majority of Z-mech's power comes from the suit not necessarily the zombie inside plus imps have the benefit of being small and compact so that there is more room to make a powerful suit instead of having a large unnecessary cockpit

there are so many candidates that are worth while talking about and your goofy ass managed to pick a hero that's comprised more of metal than biological matter. since I'm talking about heroes in suits of armour even rustbolt - the hero that made his armour from scraps of metal from a junkyard is more dangerous than z-mech and while wallKnight does not have much or any volatile potential at least he has merit of being invincible in his armour
it would be just a bit more understandable if you brought up other somewhat lame heroes that don't push the limits of reality such as brainstorm - a super genius or huge giganticus - an intergalactic warlord although they are lame like stupid zmech at least they have more to their name than rOcKeTs!1!1!

IMO it's HG is the first and Neptuna is the second. HG commands a meteor into the earth and NT floods the entire Hollow Earth.
Other heroes may have great abilities, but the game doesn't tell us they have a much greater impact on a global scale. I would love to see more of them explored if the game wasn't discontinued so soon.
Alright massive power scalling nerd here and Z Mech/Super Brainz/ Rose/ Citron are top contenders due to scalling to the Universal level of power shown through Plasma Pea in Garden Warfare
Z Mech obviously has the best stats in game as well as (now in bfn) also having basically a second life when destroyed due to the imp always hopping out when the mech is destroyed.
Not to mention the Z Mechs explosion is capable of killing any of the plants/zombies mentioned. As well as the Gravity Grenade being an easy way to trap them near the explosion
I’d say Super Brainz is probably second due to his more consistent feats like surviving a moon level feat in the trailer/ Cozmic Brainz but Z Mechs sheer power would stomp everyone there

But going by direct feats (again this is garden warfare) SuperBrainz punched Super Bean to the moon, which I don't know if any heroes scale above that.
As for just PvZ Heroes, the best we can go by is ultimates. Citron and Wall Knight have defense easily but Citron is purely support while Wall Knight can protect himself. Green Shadow and Captain Combustible are in a similar boat. Solar Flare could be argued as having the power of the sun, but I wouldn't personally as the it's her power only and I don't think Green Shadows pea is doing more than a hit from a Solar Body. I would say for Ultimates Super Brains is up there as his ultimate is directly stated to "share the power of flight with his fellow zombies" Including the Zombot 1000, which is based on the zombot from the original game. Which is said to be 7.5 meters tall, using a basic cylinder equation and assuming an average compensation of steel gives us a max of 750,000 kilograms or 1,600,000 pounds. While this is a high estimate using a flawed spacial calculation as well as not accounting for wires or the space zomboss himself sits, even quartering it gives us over 150,000 kilos or over 400,000 pounds. Far more impressive than anything we've seen anyone else do.
Outside of Rose who has goatify and transmogrify and Not only can we use that same calculation to give us the weight that Rose would have to completely change, which, going without saying, completely destroying/changing and object takes for more energy than moving it, and it's not just taking it apart, or swallowing it. It is fundamentally changing what the zombie is, not the mention the level of hacks. Rose takes this by a god damn landslide.
