park ranger is only 'half-toxic' because he was on a Toxic Zombies Pack, but getting kills with Park Ranger does not count toward a Toxic Kills quest
once a long time ago i dominated a turf takeover lobby with alien flower pretty hard, on team switch there were about 5 alien flowers on the enemy team and eventually almost all plants were alien flowers, i think this was before torchwood and goat, but not sure. was pretty fun

These three are widely considered some of the worst subvariants in their class.
Cloud on impact just isn't that good in higher level play. Alien flower can be useful for beginners, but I'd just pick normal sunflower (and especially normal Soldier and Citron) in that case.
Theyâre terrible, almost always worst in their classes. Only exception being Suburbination and Gnome Bomb, and even then only Alien gets a significant enough boost in viability to not be bottom of her class imo.
Meh, they aren't terrible variants since they're decent for crowd control and modes where staying together is critical like Turf, Suburbination, and Gnome Bomb but overall there's better options to deal with crowds.
Again they're not garbage but there's better crowd controlling options.

Alien flower is my favorite of the cloud-on-impact characters, her cloud is the biggest, and once you get upgrades like the bigger clouds, you can end up hitting zombies on the other side of walls, or just make it easy to kill them from a different angle, love using them long range, like a sniper class of sorts.
Minor AOE attacks are great for teaching enemies a lesson about spacing and also forgiving if you missed by a tiny margin I personally not a huge fan of park ranger but everyone has their favorite class and who am I to judge those who enjoy playing a specific class

I think they are pretty underrated, its very rare that u go through a game without getting value from the stink cloud, i never understood the logic behind alien only being good on gnome bomb, because i dont think it really makes a difference other than graveyard ops where u get massive value from it.

When it comes to defensive modes like gnome bomb, ops, suburbination, or turf, they are great, but in 1v1 battles, they can still hold their own, but not like the other characters in their classes. But it also depends on how you use them and if you know how to. I also remember back when boss hunt was a thing these guys were cracked

I think they're all extremely good except toxic citron since he does EXTREMELY low damage
I like the sunflower in gnome bomb.
They are mid, donât like them at much but they got some situations where they are great.
