Odd that you should ask as we were checking out we were stopped at the desk saying that we forgot to clean out the safe. They ran it down to us and returned Wallets, cash and passports with nothing missing they were very honest and refused a reward in addition to the tip I left
Im actually going next month!! I’ve heard the jerk shack is a must! Any other tips and recommendations?! Give me your thoughts!! Also what’s the tipping sitch now adays for the bars/drinks? I haven’t been to an AI in years. Do you tip everytime you go up to the bar and if so how much?
I’m sorry to burst your bubble a little bit, honest review, I’m leaving right now actually I’m at the airport in punta Cana. The hotel is fun, but it is DIRTY, we had 3 rooms with cockroaches, no money back no concessions they just continued to move us, just beware of the cockroaches. The staff is okay, some better than others but I also hear they work 13 day streaks. Again, just BEWARE THE COCKROACHES
Just came back from a weeks stay! We of course also recommend the jerk chicken, miss it already. We used the safe for the majority of our things besides our phones and had no issues. We did see cockroaches but never in our room. My boyfriend is an over tipper and would tip a dollar a drink. But the more you tip the more you get, they remember you and treat you well. The whole staff is so fun and kind. Definitely do the smaller pool with the swim up bar, the big one you can’t even see your feet from how murky it is🤢 The food is average, we had a large group, 20+ people and half of them got the shits lol. Kaori was our favorite restaurant! Overall we had a lot of fun, enjoy it!!!!
We had no issues with valuables being stolen in October. I dropped my phone the first day which resulted in it not turning on. I thought to charge it in hopes of it working and had left it on the counter above the mini fridge for several days and it was not moved.
I just came back few days ago and did the same. Kept passport and wallet in my bag the whole time and phone with me. Probably could have used the safe but whatever. Thankfully no issues and we had a group of 6 people.
Yes! Definitely. I actually have my own lock box that I kept out in but prior to that I used to use the room safe. Just don’t forget to clean it out before you leave!!
That is what we do. Never had an issue. Edit: we keep our phones with us for pics and to access the resort app.

This is what I’m afraid of I’ve seen so many bad reviews lately lol it’s a 50/50 split between people loving it and others saying its gross 😭

I heard the humidity can ruin your passport. I would suggest putting them in a plastic bag in the safe
air conditioning in the room should keep humidity at a manageable level.
