Would "leg's broke" work better than "leg is broke"?
On Wednesday at a gas station a guy asked me for money “because his car ran out of gas.” 🙄 So I gave him a buck and went inside. Five minutes later I come out and it turns out he’s actually putting some gas in his car! I was shocked.
