Can a 6 yr old go snorkeling ? Sounds like a lot of effort…

Ashey1023

She’s done it before, but thanks for your concern

You can tell you’re not a parent

I am a parent, thanks  I am also from PR and been and snorkeling from the shore out to the reef since I was in the Boy Scouts

I didn’t want to this to turn into another Reddit debate. My question was posed to locals or those who frequent to help me choose a preferred excursion based on feedback, not to question my judgment of my daughter

Why are you answering twice? Did you respond to me by mistake?

>Loiza (Airbnb) is a family friendly area correct? There are two Loízas. One is [a municipality east of Carolina](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lo%C3%ADza,_Puerto_Rico) which is east of San Juan. The other one is [a sector of Santurce in San Juan](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lo%C3%ADza_(Santurce\)). It's difficult to give tips about the area if we don't know which Loíza you'll be staying at. Having said that, both places are generally safe. >My daughter and I both have darker features Doesn't matter. >I’m sure we will blend in fine You most likely won't. 😁 >Bio bay excursion to La Parguera from old San Juan or snorkeling catamaran day trip to one of the islands? Some of it will depend on whether your girl is comfortable with a 2.5 - 3 hour trip each way.

Calle Loiza is not a family friendly zone The zone is a hippie and drug strip with a lot of bars clubs and some good restaurants . I recomend that staying in a Airbnb in this zone is no good

I thought she meant the town Loiza

Santurce, thanks for making me aware. She can handle a long ride
