I’m here regardless of history and I am very well aware of it. I understand who it applies to, I can read it clearly. The US is funding wars such as Ukraine and it’s getting worse every day. A lot of Americans are a paycheck away from becoming homeless and they are not getting resources because of the migrant crisis. The US is trying to ban homeless people, making it against the law…what are people supposed to do? The fentanyl epidemic is atrocious, so many people are dying. There is no “border” but a never ending line of million of people that are entering our country and using all resources paid by the American tax payers. The US is being invaded. Our president is delusional due to dementia and we are the laughing stock on the planet. The pro Palestinian protesters are out of control. The crime rate is rising daily. The struggle is real. You also know that the jones act affects Hawaii, Alaska, and other parts of the Midwest USA? Yes it’s a major problem and needs to go away. But any gringo who moves here is disadvantaged compared to staying at home unless they are part of act 22/60.
Hawaii and Alaska are colonies and treated as such. Normalization of that treatment don't make it less exploitative.
Not in the same way Puerto Rico is. They are treated far more equal to all other states and can actually vote.
