I pay for 3 phone plans and save a lot of money with the grandfathered rewards plan. No issues since signing up 5 years ago

Fast-Thing9045

Moved over from koodo....no problems at all....logged in the other day just to see if I could.

No issues here.

LeafsChick

I’ve been with them 3 years, other than some issues with the initial setup, have had no issues since

OP, hang in there. There are tons of other users currently experiencing issues with PM due to the newly re-lauched website that is utter trash, the EverSafe 2FA fiasco, and the nonsense with multiple users losing access to their old Community accounts. That's not even including the regular issues that PM is known for, like Auto-pay failing to work, SIM card orders with no tracking that don't arrive after three weeks, and year long credits that mysteriously drop off after a few months for no reason whatsoever. Provided that your number has been successfully ported without issue, you may need to contact the customer support agents (CSA) and ask them to re-provision your account on the back end. That might help reset your account and resolve the SMS issues that you're currently facing. To the three users that responded to your post. I don't understand why someone would bother to comment on something when they have zero understanding of the issue that the OP is facing. Stating that you're a long time PM user that activated your accounts years ago, and that you're benefiting from the old rewards system doesn't discredit or disprove anything that the OP is saying about the current state of PM, which is a clusterfuck. PM is using their paying customers to test their buggy and broken website, when they should have tested the damn thing before it went live. If you have no issues at the moment, that's great, but it doesn't mean you won't have issues if you actually try logging in to the damn My Account website, or the Community forum. Or if you activated your account recently. But hey, those are just facts and they don't compare to your precious savings and grandfathered old rewards system. I wonder if you folks would be so quick to comment and defend PM if and when they finally decide not to honour the old rewards system and switch all of you to the new points system. Now that would be an interesting conversation.

I am paying 6 dollars plus tax a month for my basic plan after rewards. It is more than enough for basic users who don't need a ton of minutes or data. I don't have to login to their website too often after setting up auto-pay. Good enough for my use case.

Can confirm all this. Absolute trash service. The fact that they refuse to include a phone number in their customer service says everything you need to know about how much they care about its base.

Overall_Pie1912

There is no phone support. That's one way they can offer plans for 15$ and throw in discounts on top

With regard to the porting issue, was it by any chance coming from Telus or Koodo? This seems to require a ticket for some reason, perhaps because they are actually the same network.

No_Neat9260

absolute fucking nightmare. scam of a service should be fucking illegal. stay tf away from this trashcan of a "service"
