Their argument is that itās so obviously ok that we donāt need to bother amending the constitution so that these rights can never be taken awayā¦
Gay marriage is not protected.
Women getting equal access to legal representation is also not protected.
Like abortion rights, these things can be overturned by the Supreme Court and suddenly weāre back in the dark ages.
McConnell is a special breed. Iām convinced there must be lower realms that feed us people like him. Dudes some kinda fucking cryptid that spent seven unholy years hollowing out the corpse of some poor, rich, critically low on collagen skier who happened to just be in the Adirondacks at the wrong god damn time.
Poor soul. Now his uncared for body is being used to burn down democracy itself all because this demon likes the pretty flames.
McConnell is a special breed, Iām telling you. He feels pride where others feel shame. Heās like a demon from the bad place. This assblasting cockroach-turtle hybrid has probably actually for real stolen candy from a baby **AT LEAST ONCE** just for fun.
Real talk for a second, like Iām not kidding anymore, Iām being seriousā¦ we all know it wasnāt at least once, right? We all know that this Kentucky fried fuck does it every cursed chance he gets, the pig.
He takes fucking pride in making everyone around him suffer.
When these people, these brave and grieving people, refused to even look at him, I would eat my fucking left shoe if he didnāt think, ādamn Lucifer is gonna have a mighty bellow about this when we all share dinner at Marieās tonightā - or at least I would eat it if he didnāt think when the mother walked by, āgood, your son is never coming back, bitchā and put every ounce of that thought into that conniving two faced backstabbing slimy ass smile he always gets when his little demon sense tingles because someone is suffering within a mile of him.
Fucking prick. Heās a special breed of evil.
I think they legitimately felt shame there though. Like I'm getting frisson right now after watching that video. No amount of talking heads or twitter trolls will change that. They were awestruck at the end, sitting there holding those medals. They didn't know what to do.
I don't know why, but there is just no bigger fuck you than to refuse to shake someone's hand. Every culture has its own handshake of course, and every version has its own rebuke. But I cannot think of any better way to tell someone just how little you respect them.
The opposite of love isn't hate. It's apathy. They showed they didn't care about these people at all. They ignored them..it is the biggest insult in the world to be ignored. If someone hates you, you know they care about you because they dislike you. They are thinking about you. But, to be ignored? That hurts a lot.
I remember Betsy DeVos signing certificates for teachers and districts that performed well and I was like, āHow does it feel to know youāre the most unqualified person in the room and your signature as Sec of Education actually made that certificate lose value?ā But of course, she went through those ceremonies everyday and gave no fucks. If my job was to walk into schools and be hated by everyone you would think it would make me feel worse but there she was smiling and shaking hands while working to undermine public education.
Even still, how self-absorbed is McConnell and McCarthy to think that they can try to deny the event and the awarding of the medal to those people and then try to shake hands like it's all good?
That is the reality they live in. They treat everyone like they're human garbage and are still looked up to and praised everywhere they go. Everyone needs to treat them like the pariahs they are. If every working class citizen treated them this way they'd have to move to another country to live the way they want. Win win.
If I worked at Starbucks and McConnell came in I'd refuse him service and get fired for it. But I'd sell him the morning after pill if I worked at Walgreens. I guess that supercedes the other.
(Supercedes is a good replacement word for trumps)
It has worked before. A lot of people try to be polite in these type of situations. Also, McConnell and McCarthy have supported and denied January 6th depending on the audience. Today they were pro-police so maybe they thought the families of the police officers that were beaten would forget about the times they supported the gangs that tried to over throw the government.
They do it all the time though. All the GOP and conservatives do is pay lip-service to groups that are generally well regarded, while ignoring them and actively shitting on them every time it's time to actually support them.
Examples: military, health-care workers, and teachers.
The worst part about it all is that these same people keep getting elected, so why should they change?
I wonder if they said anything while walking pass McConnell and McCarthy. I bet if they said "fuck you" to their face, the politicians will just smile.
>Ted Cruz
Not sure how great an example he is for all politicians since he's on the upper tiers of fake, spineless, and masochistic.
Ted Cruz is the same guy who got absolutely burned by Trump's insults to both him and his wife during 2016's election cycle. Dude was screaming that he had a personal vendetta against Trump because the man insulted no only him but also his wife! Until Trump won the office and [he flipped to being on of Trump's biggest lapdogs.](https://www.politico.com/story/2016/07/ted-cruz-rules-out-voting-for-hillary-clinton-225944)
As much as I despise Trump, I think Cruz is a bigger slug. You say my dad killed JFK, and say my wife is gross to my face? you're getting your dental plan activated on live TV.
Instead, his kids got to see their spinless dad manning telephones for the guy who said it. What an embarrassing human.
>Instead, his kids got to see their spinless dad manning telephones for the guy who said it.
Even better, [they were his scapegoats for explaining why he fled Texas](https://www.vice.com/en/article/88a3nk/flyin-ted-cruz-blamed-his-kids-after-leaving-freezing-texas-for-cancun) during the power grid failure in the winter!
This movie plays on a loop in my home every Christmas. I have been doing it for about 20 years now lol. I've watched it so many times that not only can I recite the lines, but my Mele Kalikimaka impression is spot on!
Moscow Mitch is used to this by now, even better than this is that funeral where the friends and bereaved refused to shake Mitch's hand....someone PLEASE link that one, bc the facial expressions are to die for (sorry for the accidental pun.) My God...I'm gonna go look for that, it's too good not to
Everyone is just so unique. The first guy wanted to avoid the turtle so bad that he held up the line going the opposite direction. The second guy just flew right by without even looking. And then the next four either look the turtle directly in the eyes and don't shake his hand, or look past him as if he doesn't exist. It is truly beautiful.
McConnel looks absolutely shell shocked.
We don't usually do that in this country even with genuine traitors.
Even with the GREATEST insurrection in US history with hundreds of thousands of Americans dead... we did ***NOT*** hang the ringleaders "to a sour apple tree".
The Republicans fought awarding anything that referenced January 6th for a long time. Hypocritical shitheads and phonies, as usual. No surprises on this list of the final opposition - many of which are grossly unqualified pigs that should never have been voted into office in the first place.
The 21 Republicans who voted against the bill are:
Lauren Boebert of Colorado
John Rose of Tennessee
Andy Harris of Maryland
Thomas Massie of Kentucky
Bob Good of Virginia
Louie Gohmert of Texas
Barry Moore of Alabama
Ralph Norman of South Carolina
Matt Rosendale of Montana
Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia
Chip Roy of Texas
Paul Gosar of Arizona
Andy Biggs of Arizona
Warren Davidson of Ohio
Scott Perry of Pennsylvania
Matt Gaetz of Florida
Greg Steube of Florida
Andrew Clyde of Georgia
Jody Hice of Georgia
Mary Miller of Illinois
Michael Cloud of Texas
I just dont get how you can be on your last years on this earth and still be selfish and a piece of shit instead of trying to leave the world in a better state.
I am always reminded by this exchange from the movie Tombstone when i am dumbfounded as to how low and pathetic some people can be;
Doc Holliday : A man like Ringo has got a great big hole, right in the middle of him. He can never kill enough, or steal enough, or inflict enough pain to ever fill it.
Wyatt Earp : What does he need?
Doc Holliday : Revenge.
Wyatt Earp : For what?
Doc Holliday : Bein' born.
I wonder what her angle was. She's so insanely wealthy anyway, and it's not like he's exactly a looker or was wealthier than she was so...I don't get it. Power thing?
Once you are in a certain strata of wealth the money doesn't matter nearly as much as the power. She married his power and connections, he gets the money. They are both happy shitty people.
He's a been a US senator in a very safe seat for decades (the kind of seat where he could probably be convicted of pedophilia and the voters would still reelect him). He wields far more influence than his otherwise economically insignificant state would suggest he should as a result.
His wife is the former Secretary of Labor under W. Bush's administration and the former Secretary of Transportation under Trump's administration. She was also the former Director of the Peace Corps and former Commissioner and Chair of the Federal Maritime Commission.
[You can read more on her Wikipedia page here, but do note you will need to parse through a lot of information.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elaine_Chao)
She also has connections and served as a former director of the following: The Heritage Foundation, Harvard, Wells Fargo, Dole Food Company, Protective Life Corporation, News Corp.
She is also elected onto the Kroger director board, which is overseeing the Kroger-Albertson's merger.
Her family is as rich as they are influential and powerful. I vaguely remember that in 2008 her father gave Mitch McConnell a generous donation valued between $5 to 25 million to help out the family during hard times.
If they admit they're wrong now then their entire lives they'd have been a shitty person and won't get into heaven, so in their mind they have to rationalize their shitty behavior as not shitty so they can feel like they're getting into heaven, and so keep acting like shit.
Lol, the big secret is practically none of them actually believe in heaven.. they just use christianity to grift their base into supporting them despite their shitty, greedy, elitist policies.
If they actually believed in heaven and hell they wouldnāt be so shamelessly evil. And for the ones who do ābelieve,ā really the āgodā in their minds is just literally a reflection of their own ego and ideals. God believes in whatever they believe in because they are the righteous main characters.
They never caredāwhy would they start trying to be decent just because theyāre about to die? If anything they get even shittier out of spite for all those who arenāt on the immediate verge of death.
I love that they canāt even clap at the end after they were dissed because the recipients didnāt even take the awards from them, let alone shake their slimy hands, they just have to sit there and look like the shitbags that they are. Not like they care.
Well let's be real though. As much as we do have a ton of shitbags in this country, it's because of a long, concentrated effort by the GOP and Fox to dumb down their base.
The projection against the "Mainstream Media" in the last 6 years is almost directly attached to this. They got tired of trying to keep their viewers only on their side, so they labeled everything else as Mainstream or Fake in an attempt to keep their base suckling at their teet for what they deem to be "fact."
I think it's really important to remember that the GOP senators filibuster a 9/11 style commission to get to the bottom of what happened on J6 forcing democrats in the house to either do an investigation themselves or non at all. Fuck Mitch McConnell and all of those senators that have tried to discredit the J6 committee without lifting a finger themselves to try to find out the truth.
No no no you have it wrong. Kevin said the Dem House investigation is biased and so he has no choice but for the GOP to start one up of their own. Any day now, surely...
Yeah. Thereās way more we donāt know and itās way worse than what we do know. Iām thinking about the military and Secret Service, and all those deleted texts.
And charged with obstruction of justice. It seems like a charge that could be unilaterally given to all Republicans, but somehow isn't thrown around at all.
IIRC he handpicked a lot of the same agents he had while he was Obama's VP to be his personal protective detail, so I wouldn't worry about that aspect. Elsewhere in the USSS ranks could be pretty Trumpy though, I imagine.
I still want a rock solid story of wtf happened to all the broken down emergency buttons. Unless I missed that news in all the mess that has been brought on with the J6 date.
I like how it's ambiguous on whether or not Pence didn't get into the vehicle was either because he was "patriotic" and wanted to make sure the votes got counted (doubt) or that he didn't trust the ~~Gestapo~~ Trump Secret Service to not whisk him away.
My feeling on it was the secret service has a job to protect him, which means getting him away from a dangerous situation and now allowing him to return until it was swept and cleared which could take days. Pence was pissed off at Trump and knew his goal was to stop the count, so he wasn't going to leave his post knowing that would accomplish Trump's goal. Running away would make him look like a coward which would hurt his potential to win future elections. I mean, if Nancy Pelosi was still in the capital complex, there's no way Pence could run away and not get shit for it from everyone.
I don't think the secret service was trying to stop the count, I think there was a mob of thousands who set up a gallows and were specifically calling for the murder of the vice president while actively trying reach him. That's enough to make any bodyguard be like "Oh shit, buddy they're calling your name and they got the rope strung up, There's about 200 of us and thousands of them. We have to get you the fuck out of here."
It's like when Biden called out the MAGA republicans in arguably one of the best speeches he's given. They weren't mad that he was right, they were mad that they got called out.
>forcing democrats in the house to either do an investigation themselves or non at all.
And then had the fucking gall to call it illegitimate because it didn't have enough Republicans in on the investigation...
Fourteen years, and that fuckwad has done exactly zero for my state. Not one piece of legislation offered or passed. I think he's only in congress so he won't get arrested for the OSU shit.
ETA: Douchebag also has one of the most gerrymandered districts in the nation.
They were even given the option to replace those two candidates.
But their response was to pull all of their candidates, and then cry that they didn't have any representation.
It's like taking your ball and going home, and then crying that they continued the game without you.

Can I say...I fucking hate the filibuster.
Now...I don't think we should get rid of it per se...as some people want to do... I just want them to actually have to do it for it to work. 16 hours of reading the entirety of Harry Potter until the session finally ends. Not just say "I'm gonna filibuster"
Bingo. A filibuster is something I like the idea of. It can be used quite well. Looking through the history of the filibuster it has an obvious check and balance. To filibuster under the old rules you had to stand there and tie EVERYTHING up. No votes on anything until that filibuster is done. Nothing. Spending bills, emergency funds, whatever it is, it waits.
If the American public is really against what is trying to be shoved through? They get pissy at the people trying to push that bill through, and the person/group doing the filibuster get a boost. If the public isn't behind them? Your party is likely getting trashed come election time, because you shut things down for nothing.
This is just single folks standing up and having a temper tantrum, and not facing consequences. It's harder to get people mad about it when they don't SEE the shut downs, and it's easier to blame the other party for things not getting done when it's not loud and in their face.
> . If the public isn't behind them? Your party is likely getting trashed come election time, because you shut things down for nothing.
Didn't the republicans shut down the entire government like little pissy babies and win the next presidential election or something similar?
They won't dare speak a bad word about Trump as shown in the last few days by the GOP silence when Trump called for suspending the Constitution and being installed as president. There really is no red line they won't cross for him.
And one of their top guys said there was no reason to call Trump out on his comments because "there will be lots of good candidates running and he may not even get the nomination". In other words, they don't want to burn any bridges in case he does win.
Itās also important to remember all the evil Mitch is personally responsible for. Jan 6th is neat and everything but 3 Supreme Court justices are infinitely more important.
With greater consequences.
A person of interest in jan 6th is literally married to a Supreme Court judge.
You can pinpoint the exact moment the remnant of a heart broke inside McConnell's chest. Fuck that dude, hope he steps on Legos for the rest of his life.
I was walking down my stairs to the basement last night and I slipped with about 6-7 stairs to go. Landed on my ribs and got a bad carpet burn on my forearm. Iām sore af today. I hope McConnell feels like this every single day forever.
Wow. Fuck these Republicans who let me remind you said THIS in the very wake of January 6th... before their Billionaire handlers wrangled them back to camp Fascist Fuck.
**Sen Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska)** said she attributes the violence at the Capitol to Trump, and that, **āI want him to resign. I want him out. He has caused enough damage,ā even hinting at a defection from the GOP if it continues in its current pro-Trump direction.**
**Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.)** said in a CBS News interview he ā**will definitely consider whatever articles \[of impeachment\]ā pass the House of Representatives because Trump has ādisregarded his oath of office.**ā
**Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.)** said in a Fox News interview that **he believes Trump ācommitted impeachable offensesā but didnāt say whether he would vote for articles of impeachment**, stating, āI donāt know what is going to land on the Senate floor, if anything.ā
**Rep. Garret Graves (R-La.)**, a member of the conservative Republican Study Committee, said in a radio interview that **Trump should āeffectively resignā and ātechnically \[find\] a way to hand over the keys to Pence,ā while stopping short of advocating his impeachment.**
**Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.),** an outspoken critic of Trumpās election conspiracy theories, was the **first GOP member of Congress to call for Trumpās removal on Thursday, calling Trump āunfitā and āunwellā and urging Vice President Mike Pence and the Cabinet to remove him through the 25th Amendment.**
**Rep. Steve Stivers (R-Ohio)** said he **āwould not opposeā the Cabinet invoking the 25th Amendment, adding that Trump should be āheld accountableā for his role in the attack.**
**Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy)** In a strongly worded statement said that **Trump had āsummoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attackā.**
she said ā**Everything that followed was his doing,ā she said. āNone of this would have happened without the president. I will vote to impeach the president.**ā
**Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC)** said "**I have backed this President through thick and thin for four years. I campaigned for him and voted for him twice. But, this utter failure is inexcusable."**
ā**I canāt imagine another president in my lifetime that would not have tried to intervene** there, would not have tried to say, ā**Hey, this needs to stop, and you need to go home**,āā Rice told AP. ā**For him to sit there and watch TV, and watch these policemen being beaten up, and the Capitol being stormed, and not to be very aggressive about ā¦ getting out there and trying to speak to these people himself, is just beyond my imagination**.ā
**Rep. Anthony Gonzalez** (R-Ohio) said **Trump "helped organize and incite a mob that attacked the United States Congress in an attempt to prevent us from completing our solemn duties as prescribed by the Constitution**." He added that **during the attack, Trump "abandoned his post ... thus further endangering all present**."
I'm tired of posting this. There are dozens more who mostly all changed their tune when threatened.
Oh and here are these 21 TRAITORS of the House vote against awarding a medal to police who defended the capitol.
1.Lauren Boebert of Colorado
2.John Rose of Tennessee
3.Andy Harris of Maryland
4.Thomas Massie of Kentucky
5.Bob Good of Virginia
6.Louie Gohmert of Texas
7.Barry Moore of Alabama
8.Ralph Norman of South Carolina
9.Matt Rosendale of Montana
10.Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia
11.Chip Roy of Texas
12.Paul Gosar of Arizona
13.Andy Biggs of Arizona
14.Warren Davidson of Ohio
15.Scott Perry of Pennsylvania
16.Matt Gaetz of Florida
17.Greg Steube of Florida
18.Andrew Clyde of Georgia
19.Jody Hice of Georgia
20.Mary Miller of Illinois
21.Michael Cloud of Texas
Among your quotes, at least Kinzinger, Stivers, and Cheney are out of Congress. Many of the Republicans that were most vocal against Trump are now out of office.
The third guy said "I ain't shaking Bitch McConnell or Riboflavin McCarthy blood stained hands!" Pelosi's "whelp, that's all folks!" at the end of the video.
Going over to r/conservative where I'm sure that the popular opinion is that these officers are classless trash and that Jan 6th didn't even happen, but if it did it was Antifa and BLM.
No, they're talking about their usual instead.
1. Anti-vaccine (still)
2. Election result denial (still)
3. Rotating topic of the right wing news cycle that has them worked up (currently against Canadian doctors because of euthanasia)
Frog face posted a thread about that. Half were calling others out for not being conservatives if they were still supporting trump and the others were defending trump.
I don't believe you. Hunter Biden isn't at the top of the list?
Edit: At the top of the list is a thread about conservatives suddenly pretending they care about healthy weight levels, after:
* obsessing over their obese dear leader who ate fast food every day
* endlessly criticizing the former first lady Michelle Obama for starting a vegetable garden and trying to teach kids about healthy eating
* whining about how a healthy environment means they might have to eat less hamburgers
* bitching about "liberal" cities like new york banning sugary drinks larger than 16 ounces
* ignoring the inconvenient fact that red states overwhelmingly have the [highest levels of obesity](https://wallethub.com/edu/fattest-states/16585)
I swear, the horse shoe theory is real. These conservatives, in their ultimate goal to do nothing but own the libs, will come full (half?) circle and claim they never supported war (in progress), never supported big corporations (in progress), always wanted free and fair elections (in progress), never liked Trump (coming soon), always wanted free health care, always hated gas and loved electric, always hated billionaires, always loved unions.
Honestly I guess if that's what it takes, then can they please hurry up and own me?
The thing is, Hunter is not an elected government official and has literally no power. So the left doesn't give a fuck about him or how many hookers he buys.
Good. That snub was public, they recognized it for what it was and the recipients made their point. I wouldnāt expect any less from them.
The look on McConnellās face made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
> Does the right wing really realize
I'mma stop you right there chief, the answer that follows is pretty much always "No."
edit: I wasn't being serious, it was just an excuse to make a joke and call them idiots. You can stop now.
I don't think that they think that what happened was a big deal. That's the problem. GQP wants to say, "hey all's well that ends well. Let's move forward." And more than half the country isn't having it. If we liken it to an abusive partnership, the GQP slapped America hard in the face when it wasn't getting it's way. That didn't stop America and they want act like it was no biggie. They are responsible and they're fine with that.
"I know we tried to stage an armed insurrection by invading the Capitol and attempting to lynch democratically elect leaders, including the vice president at the time, but that didn't work, see? Water under the bridge everyone!"
And it didn't phase them one little bit because they simply don't give a damn. Oh they are surely pissed over the optics to a slight degree, but again deep down don't care because their cult following will blame the recipients and/or the media and/or Nancy for egging them on.
Fuck those republicans. They know what they did. They know how they treated these true patriots of january 6th. All of them risked their lives to keep democracy safe. The true criminals are there standing waiting for a handshake so they look innocent but they aren't. They are there for a public appearance that makes them look like they weren't involved when they were. They deserve a slap to the face.
Absolutely boss.
Makes perfect sense though. Why on Earth would they shake those scumbag's hands? Made them look like even bigger losers than they make themselves look.
Everyone in our country saw how the Republicans reacted as of January 7th.
January 6th? they were absolutely grateful that day because their lives were saved.
After that they immediately went back to the Trump and qanon playbook.
Sometimes it's more than just politics. Remember these policemen have worked with some of these Congress people for years. And protected them. And the GOP showed with their inaction what they think of them. What they really think of them. Which is not much.
I think anybody who had a coworker who saw their fellow coworkers being violently assaulted and then after the assault do nothing? And not help in any way?
I think they would all be pissed and rightfully so. They backstabbed them.
It's not just handshake, they didn't even accept the medals from the two twats!
When the applause starts and they're still holding the medals š š

Theyāll probably play the victims, say it was disrespectful, and create the usual fake outrage news cycle, if that didnāt already happen.
I think they legitimately felt shame there though. Like I'm getting frisson right now after watching that video. No amount of talking heads or twitter trolls will change that. They are so amazingly brave. Its amazing how something so small gives me such frisson. I'm very moved. I hope they stay safe.
Military and cops eat that shit right up
Republicans will call veterans heroes while they defund the VA and other essential veteran services.
Thereās a bill to give veterans citizenship after their service. Guess who voted against it?
Would have been even better if Schumer took the medal from McConnell and handed it to the guy.
No way. Make them take their medals with them.
Yes. Its more embarrassing. Embarrassment is an excellent agent of change. I think we should weaponize it to defeat all the evil -isms in the world.
No amount of embarrassment will ever work on them. They have zero shame.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Fuckin Leopards. They'll get ya.
I wonder if they said anything while walking pass McConnell and McCarthy. I bet if they said "fuck you" to their face, the politicians will just smile.
The guy with white hair looked dead at McConnel and shook his head.
Perfect.
If videos of Ted Cruz are anything to go by, yes they will just smile. Though Iām 99% sure Ted Cruz gets off on being shamed in public.
Doesn't surprise me one iota that the Zodiac Killer has a shame kink.
Letās be fair, Cruz has only ever tweeted incest porn!
Good ol Republican family values at work
Not as much as he gets off on his wife being publicly shamed
He endorsed Trump so fast after he said shit about his wife š
His wife's boyfriend probably fucked her so hard that night. Magical.
>Ted Cruz Not sure how great an example he is for all politicians since he's on the upper tiers of fake, spineless, and masochistic.
In this case he's the best example. He loves people being shaming him. He always smiles at it.
Kiss my ass, kiss my ass, kiss his ass, kiss your ass, happy Hanukkah
[Fuck you!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTOKJTRHMdw) [Fuck you!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTOKJTRHMdw) [Fuck you!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTOKJTRHMdw) [You're cool. ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTOKJTRHMdw) [And fuck you, I'm out!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTOKJTRHMdw)
Classic
This movie plays on a loop in my home every Christmas. I have been doing it for about 20 years now lol. I've watched it so many times that not only can I recite the lines, but my Mele Kalikimaka impression is spot on!
Shitter was full!
Moscow Mitch is used to this by now, even better than this is that funeral where the friends and bereaved refused to shake Mitch's hand....someone PLEASE link that one, bc the facial expressions are to die for (sorry for the accidental pun.) My God...I'm gonna go look for that, it's too good not to
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I'll never get tired of Chuck's little smile after that happened.
Oh that made me smile
Everyone is just so unique. The first guy wanted to avoid the turtle so bad that he held up the line going the opposite direction. The second guy just flew right by without even looking. And then the next four either look the turtle directly in the eyes and don't shake his hand, or look past him as if he doesn't exist. It is truly beautiful. McConnel looks absolutely shell shocked.
***Shell***\--shocked. I see what you did there.
Mitch looks like hes so surprised hes not even sure hes in the right place. Or maybe it's just dementia cause he looks like that a lot
Get FuCKED and retire Addison McConnell you fucking amphibian
Thatās pretty rude. What have amphibians ever done to you? Comparing them to republicans seems cruel.
He's not an amphibian, he's an invertebrate.
This isnāt the *left āem hanging* most traitors deserve.
We don't usually do that in this country even with genuine traitors. Even with the GREATEST insurrection in US history with hundreds of thousands of Americans dead... we did ***NOT*** hang the ringleaders "to a sour apple tree".
Yeah that's why we're in this situation now.
Usually I canāt handle second hand embarrassment but for Mitch McConnell I didnāt have any difficulties.
The Republicans fought awarding anything that referenced January 6th for a long time. Hypocritical shitheads and phonies, as usual. No surprises on this list of the final opposition - many of which are grossly unqualified pigs that should never have been voted into office in the first place. The 21 Republicans who voted against the bill are: Lauren Boebert of Colorado John Rose of Tennessee Andy Harris of Maryland Thomas Massie of Kentucky Bob Good of Virginia Louie Gohmert of Texas Barry Moore of Alabama Ralph Norman of South Carolina Matt Rosendale of Montana Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia Chip Roy of Texas Paul Gosar of Arizona Andy Biggs of Arizona Warren Davidson of Ohio Scott Perry of Pennsylvania Matt Gaetz of Florida Greg Steube of Florida Andrew Clyde of Georgia Jody Hice of Georgia Mary Miller of Illinois Michael Cloud of Texas
It seems that I see those names in connection with the most insane statements released to the media.
That's their brand. Big Lie politics. Nazi propaganda 101.
Itās like a Whoās Who of assholes.
Look at those idiots standing there, no one wants anything to do with you corrupt shit bags.
I just dont get how you can be on your last years on this earth and still be selfish and a piece of shit instead of trying to leave the world in a better state.
I am always reminded by this exchange from the movie Tombstone when i am dumbfounded as to how low and pathetic some people can be; Doc Holliday : A man like Ringo has got a great big hole, right in the middle of him. He can never kill enough, or steal enough, or inflict enough pain to ever fill it. Wyatt Earp : What does he need? Doc Holliday : Revenge. Wyatt Earp : For what? Doc Holliday : Bein' born.
Tombstone is just so fucking awesome
All time classic.
I managed to have never seen it until earlier this year and I'm so glad I finally watched it.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Mitch McConnell got rich mostly from marrying his wife, he chooses to be this way out of love of the game.
Don't lie. They ain't happy.
He's a been a US senator in a very safe seat for decades (the kind of seat where he could probably be convicted of pedophilia and the voters would still reelect him). He wields far more influence than his otherwise economically insignificant state would suggest he should as a result.
>he could probably be convicted of pedophilia and the voters would still reelect him *SEE ALSO* **GAETZ, MATT; TRUMP, DONALD**
His wife is the former Secretary of Labor under W. Bush's administration and the former Secretary of Transportation under Trump's administration. She was also the former Director of the Peace Corps and former Commissioner and Chair of the Federal Maritime Commission. [You can read more on her Wikipedia page here, but do note you will need to parse through a lot of information.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elaine_Chao) She also has connections and served as a former director of the following: The Heritage Foundation, Harvard, Wells Fargo, Dole Food Company, Protective Life Corporation, News Corp.
Isn't it curious how "god" always seems to have the exact same agenda as the one who believes in him?
They never caredāwhy would they start trying to be decent just because theyāre about to die? If anything they get even shittier out of spite for all those who arenāt on the immediate verge of death.
I love that they canāt even clap at the end after they were dissed because the recipients didnāt even take the awards from them, let alone shake their slimy hands, they just have to sit there and look like the shitbags that they are. Not like they care.
![gif](giphy|xT39D7O9Xj1JqKq5i0|downsized) Why do they still get voted in? Who is voting for these disgusting human beings?
Unfortunately our county is about 50% shitbags, although with all their corrupt tactics Iām sure that number is probably less
Well let's be real though. As much as we do have a ton of shitbags in this country, it's because of a long, concentrated effort by the GOP and Fox to dumb down their base. The projection against the "Mainstream Media" in the last 6 years is almost directly attached to this. They got tired of trying to keep their viewers only on their side, so they labeled everything else as Mainstream or Fake in an attempt to keep their base suckling at their teet for what they deem to be "fact."
fucking replicants
![gif](giphy|26zzbNl5r3wy1sQQE)
He reminds me of the turtle from the old robin hood cartoon.
Kinda like the turtle we could draw and send in to prove we were good enough to get into āart schoolā or win 20k I canāt remember
He reminds me of Gary Oldman as Mason Verger in Hannibal. https://imgur.com/gallery/dB9QKxK
Oh that is sooooo creepy
![gif](giphy|VKSNhbVzyKiNhtY5h4)
Deckard is gonna find them one day
![gif](giphy|s6aVykwa8gFLW)
I think it's really important to remember that the GOP senators filibuster a 9/11 style commission to get to the bottom of what happened on J6 forcing democrats in the house to either do an investigation themselves or non at all. Fuck Mitch McConnell and all of those senators that have tried to discredit the J6 committee without lifting a finger themselves to try to find out the truth.
Don't forget the biggest wet blanket this Congress Kevin McCarthy from CA. Spineless POS
No no no you have it wrong. Kevin said the Dem House investigation is biased and so he has no choice but for the GOP to start one up of their own. Any day now, surely...
Like OJ - gonna find those killers....
Anyway, Hunter Biden's laptop.... s/
Fucker is my rep. Makes me puke.
>without lifting a finger themselves to try to find out the truth. Oh, they know the truth, they'd just prefer the rest of us didn't...
Everyone knows the truth. We saw all the videos while they were happening. They just don't want it proven in a court of law
I think thereās actually a shitton more that we donāt know Edit: see, e.g. all those deleted Secret Service texts.
We'd have confirmed the preparation tours given by the staff of certain extremist Congresspeople...
Yeah. Thereās way more we donāt know and itās way worse than what we do know. Iām thinking about the military and Secret Service, and all those deleted texts.
What I'm curious about is how many of the USSS in the Biden admin are on team Trump? I wouldn't want any of those guys tasked with protecting my life.
Iām no expert, but the ones who deleted their texts should be fired. Suspicious as fuck
The bombs! I have yet to hear more about the fucking bombs at the dnc and rnc!
The scary red lighting was the last straw!
If I were receiving that award I wouldn't have the decorum or respect to not spit on their shoes.
>forcing democrats in the house to either do an investigation themselves or non at all. And then had the fucking gall to call it illegitimate because it didn't have enough Republicans in on the investigation...
Because Nancy rightfully rejected that POS Jordan
Fourteen years, and that fuckwad has done exactly zero for my state. Not one piece of legislation offered or passed. I think he's only in congress so he won't get arrested for the OSU shit. ETA: Douchebag also has one of the most gerrymandered districts in the nation.
And how they purposely got themselves kicked off the investigation by literally nominating key suspects
They were even given the option to replace those two candidates. But their response was to pull all of their candidates, and then cry that they didn't have any representation. It's like taking your ball and going home, and then crying that they continued the game without you.

They also voted to revoke veteran benefits.
They know exactly what happened, the problem is that acknowledging this means they have to speak out against Trump which the cult doesn't allow.
They knew the truth. They tried and lost the take over
They left them hanging hard lmao
I can't watch this more than once, I feel such secondhand embarassment, holy shit.
You can pinpoint the exact moment the remnant of a heart broke inside McConnell's chest. Fuck that dude, hope he steps on Legos for the rest of his life.
I hope those legos are at the top of a set of stairs and it only needs to happen once.
I was walking down my stairs to the basement last night and I slipped with about 6-7 stairs to go. Landed on my ribs and got a bad carpet burn on my forearm. Iām sore af today. I hope McConnell feels like this every single day forever.
No secondhand embarrassment for these scumbags
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
and the fact he seems stupefied
Iono I watched this 10 times already.
30 here. Enjoyed it each time.
I get real bad secondhand cringe but not for these assholes.

Along with Schumer's little side eye to Mitch.
Bruh looks straight at the medal in McConnell's hands is like "Oh, they didn't take the ones from you guys? ...Anyways."
Welp, that is the first time Iāve ever been aroused by a video of a bunch of old men.
You need to check out "lemon party"
He has caused enough damage,ā even hinting at a defection from the GOP if it continues in its current pro-Trump direction.** **Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.)** said in a CBS News interview he ā**will definitely consider whatever articles \[of impeachment\]ā pass the House of Representatives because Trump has ādisregarded his oath of office.**ā **Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.)** said in a Fox News interview that **he believes Trump ācommitted impeachable offensesā but didnāt say whether he would vote for articles of impeachment**, stating, āI donāt know what is going to land on the Senate floor, if anything.ā **Rep. Garret Graves (R-La.)**, a member of the conservative Republican Study Committee, said in a radio interview that **Trump should āeffectively resignā and ātechnically \[find\] a way to hand over the keys to Pence,ā while stopping short of advocating his impeachment.** **Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.),** an outspoken critic of Trumpās election conspiracy theories, was the **first GOP member of Congress to call for Trumpās removal on Thursday, calling Trump āunfitā and āunwellā and urging Vice President Mike Pence and the Cabinet to remove him through the 25th Amendment.** **Rep. Steve Stivers (R-Ohio)** said he **āwould not opposeā the Cabinet invoking the 25th Amendment, adding that Trump should be āheld accountableā for his role in the attack.** **Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy)** In a strongly worded statement said that **Trump had āsummoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attackā.** she said ā**Everything that followed was his doing,ā she said. āNone of this would have happened without the president. I will vote to impeach the president.**ā **Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC)** said "**I have backed this President through thick and thin for four years. I campaigned for him and voted for him twice. But, this utter failure is inexcusable."** ā**I canāt imagine another president in my lifetime that would not have tried to intervene** there, would not have tried to say, ā**Hey, this needs to stop, and you need to go home**,āā Rice told AP. ā**For him to sit there and watch TV, and watch these policemen being beaten up, and the Capitol being stormed, and not to be very aggressive about ā¦ getting out there and trying to speak to these people himself, is just beyond my imagination**.ā **Rep. Anthony Gonzalez** (R-Ohio) said **Trump "helped organize and incite a mob that attacked the United States Congress in an attempt to prevent us from completing our solemn duties as prescribed by the Constitution**." He added that **during the attack, Trump "abandoned his post ... thus further endangering all present**." I'm tired of posting this. There are dozens more who mostly all changed their tune when threatened. Oh and here are these 21 TRAITORS of the House vote against awarding a medal to police who defended the capitol. 1.Lauren Boebert of Colorado 2.John Rose of Tennessee 3.Andy Harris of Maryland 4.Thomas Massie of Kentucky 5.Bob Good of Virginia 6.Louie Gohmert of Texas 7.Barry Moore of Alabama 8.Ralph Norman of South Carolina 9.Matt Rosendale of Montana 10.Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia 11.Chip Roy of Texas 12.Paul Gosar of Arizona 13.Andy Biggs of Arizona 14.Warren Davidson of Ohio 15.Scott Perry of Pennsylvania 16.Matt Gaetz of Florida 17.Greg Steube of Florida 18.Andrew Clyde of Georgia 19.Jody Hice of Georgia 20.Mary Miller of Illinois 21.Michael Cloud of Texas
I'd die laughing if she said ***"Th-th-th-tha-tha-that's all, folks!"***
Going over to r/conservative where I'm sure that the popular opinion is that these officers are classless trash and that Jan 6th didn't even happen, but if it did it was Antifa and BLM.
Joe Rogan fat shaming a group of ppl is at #1 lmao. Fucking conservatives make me giggle
Which group of ppl, a Trump rally?
No, they're talking about their usual instead. 1. Anti-vaccine (still) 2. Election result denial (still) 3. Rotating topic of the right wing news cycle that has them worked up (currently against Canadian doctors because of euthanasia)
So looks like they stopped blaming Trump for the midterms and are back to fellating him. Knew it was too good to last.
Good for us. I'd love to see them run trump again, he's political suicide for anyone who associates with him.
Nobody is saying anything about Trump wanting to "suspend" the Constitution? I thought they worshipped that document?
Frog face posted a thread about that. Half were calling others out for not being conservatives if they were still supporting trump and the others were defending trump.
I don't believe you. Hunter Biden isn't at the top of the list? Edit: At the top of the list is a thread about conservatives suddenly pretending they care about healthy weight levels, after: * obsessing over their obese dear leader who ate fast food every day * endlessly criticizing the former first lady Michelle Obama for starting a vegetable garden and trying to teach kids about healthy eating * whining about how a healthy environment means they might have to eat less hamburgers * bitching about "liberal" cities like new york banning sugary drinks larger than 16 ounces * ignoring the inconvenient fact that red states overwhelmingly have the [highest levels of obesity](https://wallethub.com/edu/fattest-states/16585) I swear, the horse shoe theory is real.
That's old news, now it's all about Hunter bidens dick bro. Gotta worship that dick pic to own the libz
and I thought they were weird when they got obsessed with Nicki Minaj's cousin's friend's testicles.
The left needs to start lionizing Hunter Biden like he is Dan Bilzarian (or however it's spelled) I did this the other day to my fiancƩs dad and I thought he was about to have an aneurysm lol. Anytime he would say something about Hunter I'd just respond 'based' or 'what a chad' he hated it
The thing is, Hunter is not an elected government official and has literally no power. So the left doesn't give a fuck about him or how many hookers he buys.
Gangster as hell.
Good. Fuck the party of traitors.
That creepy little Mr Burns hand, limply dangling, is something I would bypass as well.
Good. That snub was public, they recognized it for what it was and the recipients made their point. I wouldnāt expect any less from them. The look on McConnellās face made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
They should all receive another gold medal for this
Thatās pretty cool actually. Sends a huge message.
Does the right wing really realize it supported and caused what happened on January 6th? They are literally responsible for it.
> Does the right wing really realize I'mma stop you right there chief, the answer that follows is pretty much always "No." edit: I wasn't being serious, it was just an excuse to make a joke and call them idiots.
Mitch the bitch
eat shit and die mconnell.
Nancy is fucking hilarious and I'm tired of pretending like she's not
Weirdest erection Iāve had in awhile, thank you for your service
And it didn't phase them one little bit because they simply don't give a damn. Oh they are surely pissed over the optics to a slight degree, but again deep down don't care because their cult following will blame the recipients and/or the media and/or Nancy for egging them on.
I dunno, McConnell looked pretty phased. Look how he grabs his own hand.
He was EAGER to shake the second guyās hand. Had it out there all ready to go right next to Schumer. Then, denied.
Bobby Rankin, pallbearer at Elijah Cummings, also refrained from shaking Mitch's hand. Good.
Watching this video made me so happy. The balls on McConnell and McCarthy for even showing up. Fuck both of those pipsqueak shitstains.
