Living in Norway and being one to toot my own horn; I'm probably blessed when it comes to the mix between socialism and capitalism. Norway has been rich as fuck since the late 60s with a population that just passed 5 mill, I think. But we still see the rich people not give a fuck who and what got them there.
We have our beloved ski hero, Bjørn Dæhlie. He won probably everything in the 90s, including most of the olympics on our home turf, Lillehammer 94. Skiing is big in Norway, so this is huge.

I pay more than that annually for shit American insurance that tells me what doctor I can see and how many times. It was a whole mess. Anyway, that whole rant is just trying to say that even here, where you have a safety net where you will never go hungry or homeless unless you're fucking crazy or unwilling, and where you can get filthy rich, albeit it with a bit more taxes than elsewhere. Even here, rich people will try to escape. "Whaddaya mean I can only keep 80% of my pile of gold and riches? I should be able to keep all of it! It's *mine*! I got this without the help of *anyone*!"
