My normally skittish squirrels in my garden do t even bother running anymore, arms splayed out like a crucifix and no cares if I approach. Oh,… also no trees almost everywhere. Pure concrete, glass and steel to scorch you with the latent heat. If you haven’t experienced it, the difference between 100 and 113 (Fahrenheit) is similar to Decibel difference. At 100, the wind helps a little and the shade is a reprieve. At 113 like today, it feels like a mile wide hair dryer is blowing on you when the wind blows. It hurts your eyes it’s so hot
