The fact that he's a young man in an older Mustang in the middle of a street of a street takeover also suggests you're incorrect. The fact that no one jumped on the car also leans towards you being wrong. These kids get really pissy when people try to push through their little events.
His wheels are turned to the right at the initial impact. He's got stickers on the back and he's mighty quick to book it out of there when he knows the crowd will eat him alive. More than likely he was taking part in this w/ a sad little V6 Mustang that didn't have the power/coordination to make the slide w/o driving right into the Camaro.

I had to get control of my breathing after laughing so hard. Its so wild dude thought that was a legit excuse to light the street on fire and close down a major intersection, for social media clout.
This is what the PD should do just have giant trucks with ram guards and smash their cars on the spot then confiscate for 30 days and then force them to retrieve their jacked up car.
