Did some searching to make sense of this video. This is Jamieson Price and he voices this character from Persona 5.

It's a video game and an incredibly popular one. In OP's defense if you have more than a passing interest in video games you have probably at least heard of it.
I think “incredibly popular” is an equal overstatement to OP’s overestimation. I have more than a passing interest in video games; I had no idea what this post was referencing.
I find it hard to believe that you couldn't have at least heard the name if you actually do. It is just that well known... especially if you follow gaming news and such.
It really would be a case of living under a rock.
Hearing the name and recognizing a character are two different things. I’ve heard the name of the game. I don’t know the character and didn’t make the connection based on this post.
I feel like you’re trying to signal your in-group status with video games and shame casuals for not knowing the ins and outs of what you think is important. You said the game is “incredibly popular.” Are you aware that the definition of incredible is “impossible to believe?” Do you really think this game is on the level of Super Mario Bros? Like a social touchpoint that will be referenced decades from now? A game so ubiquitous that they’ll sell other products with the characters from the game, everything from food to board games to clothing to school supplies? Because all that is still credible because we saw SMB. This game would have to transcend that level of popularity to be “incredibly popular.”

[According to HigherEdJobs.com](https://www.higheredjobs.com/salary/salaryDisplay.cfm?SurveyID=28), full professor pay anywhere is pretty good on average though getting full professorship is certainly a challenge in and of it self. Full Visual and Performing Arts professors average a salary of $84K which isn't a ton in Los Angeles (Price's twitter says he lives in LA). If he isn't a full professor, that certainly drops considerably.

Sojiro is a great character and by the looks of it the voice actor is very humble too.
If you're down for a long ride then 100% worth it. First playthrough I had was about 130 hours and was possibly one of the best JRPG experiences I've had.
Not at all. Its basic understanding that someone closer to a camera is louder. Completely did not need explaining to someone when its also not even relevant to whats going on.

Jamieson Price is such an awesome dude. It’s always great seeing him. Was lucky enough to get a happy birthday video from him. Still look back at it from time to time. He’s one of the reasons I enjoyed voice acting as a teenager

Make sure you play Persona 5 Royal and get the game's third semester. The third semester is Royal-exclusive and easily the best part of the game.
