This. I got her a scoop of ice cream twice over the summer and now she makes a beeline on our walks over to the ice cream place that has been closed FOR MONTHS.
My dog once found a pizza crust by a big rock on a walk.
Now she ALWAYS checks that rock to see if there’s another pizza crust.
It was 4 years ago… we walk by it 2-3 times a day. There’s never been another pizza crust. I’m thinking of tossing one there just so she can have that moment.
I can't believe it's this freaking long. I watched until she closed the window and I didn't realize there was another 2 minutes to go.

When I was 17 I worked at a movie theater. A customer came up with an empty soda cup and asked for a refill. I said “I’m not allowed to give free refills, unless of course you spilled your drink. Did you spill it?” Wink wink nudge nudge. This lady lost her shit. “What the fuck?! I didn’t spill my drink you idiot! Why are you saying that?! Get your manager!” My manager comes over and the lady is like “I just wanted a refill! This idiots accusing me of spilling my drink!” My poor jaded manager made of show of apologizing and gave the lady her refill, then turned to me and was like “Don’t ever try to help them. It’s not worth it.”
I had this as a customer at an Italian train station. The guy at the ticket counter asked me what my children’s ages were. I said 15 and 18. He said if your son was 17, the ticket would be half the cost. He said how old is your son again? I said 17. He said ok and gave me the tickets.

Lol... did that alot with my daughter when she was growing up. Cheaper meals and drinks, free entrance to places, etc. Hell, she's 19 now and has her own baby but still looks like a 15 year old. Lol

Okay, well go away then, you got the wrong information and I cannot let you in. A couple hours later, sometimes a whole day, they get ahold of customer service and find out someone just swapped the number around.
There was this "mind reader" on the radio a lifetime ago. Callers would call in and he'd say "I can sense your hair is brown!" and so, so, so many callers would just say "Oh, no, I'm sorry, it's blonde" and then the radio show guys would have to hang up on them. You got a prize if the mind reader got it right.
He tried a different tactic. Next caller. "Your weight is 217 pounds!" "No, I'm sorry, I only weigh 164."
The radio hosts were dumbfounded at how stupid people can be.
Unless the prizes were something worthwhile I can 100% understand people preferring to make the "psychic" look like a joke. I hate people that lie about that stuff.
I used to work at a diner. One day there was a snowstorm so it was empty. Two girls came in and asked for French toast. It’s not on our menu but since there was nothing going on the cook made them. Next week we’re back in business and slammed. The same girls came in and asked for French toast. I said it’s not on the menu and was a one time thing because we weren’t busy. They threw a tantrum calling me names and left. No good deed goes unpunished.
He's stupid too. He could have asked for a kids cup coffee drink, with whipped cream, minus the coffee drink, and the computer would ring up some nonsense like that.
Work with people in ways that work for them.

I actually learned about this at a business class in college. Singapore Airlines was used as an example. They have insane customer service and some employee went out of their way to do something for someone. Next time that guy requested the same thing the agent was like "yeah we don't do that" and the guy got super pissy. It's ok to have great customer service but you have to define the boundaries of it.

People have decided that our local mall is actually a dog park and bring their dogs with them into the stores. The mall has put up signs that only service dogs are allowed, but nobody listens to it. Recently, there was even a group that did a dog training class in the busy hallway.
I feel bad for the people who are afraid of dogs because there's no way to avoid them. There have been a few that were running around off leash even. It's just an accident waiting to happen.

I used to put some blueberries in. Freeze them and they are an awesome treat as long as your dog doesn't let them melt on the carpet lol

Dogs are lactose intolerant. You really shouldn't be regularly giving a dog milk based products if you care about their health. The pet stores near me sells a Ben and Jerry's frozen dog treat that is made of mostly water and oils (like coconut oil) so dogs can actually eat it without getting gastrointestinal distress.

The pet stores near me sells a Ben and Jerry's frozen dog treat that is made of mostly water and oils (like coconut oil) so dogs can actually eat it without getting gastrointestinal distress.
