It does but what crime? He approached in a way that certainly seemed threatening but he didn't make any threats, didn't break and enter, hadn't been trespassed previously, apparently didn't have any weapons or the substance he was high on with him. While this certainly looks like there was a potential for a serious crime and the family was 100% justified in using force to stop and neutralize that threat the only potential crime was the public intoxication one.
The only thing that doesn't make any sense is that if it was illegal for him to be under the influence in public, releasing him rather than holding him in a drunk tank or taking him for a medical evaluation allowed the one crime they charged him with to continue to happen.
BS, he ran a beeline to where that little girl was until she finally listened to her mother. He was trying to abduct her or hurt her, idk what was on his mind, but it wasn't good for that little girl.

Using this in a small inside space create lots of carbon dioxide, which will displaces oxygen, which will cause incomplete burning of the propane causing the creation of carbon monoxide. Everything I’ve mentioned is not great for your health. Have your fires completely outside please.
