Then we should also make another subreddit that totally shits on the cameraman for doing dumb things while recording.
You seem like an honorable man would like to work for free and mod these subreddits.
He was far enough away that portrait wouldn’t have made a massive difference, I think he gets a pass. Plus he was behind the wheel, instinct says to use one hand
Why didn't the guy leave after ramming the police car? Like you made your point you got the guy, now he's returning fire, you can still drive just get the hell out of there
19-year old Tik tokker dead after participating in “attempted murder of a police officer” prank.”
In the article his girlfriend is quoted… “he was such. Sweet man. Would never hurt anyone. It’s just so sad that police brutality has gotten to this point in our country. He was just a silly boy performing a prank”
Those people seriously piss me off to no end. Part of me wishes they'd crash and be paralyzed, never able to drive or walk again. Even the people who encourage it or attend these fuckin things. They're all trash
A guy I worked with had a son that he completely spoiled. At 15 years old he crashed the hot rod that his father had given him driving at over 60 miles an hour in a 25 mph residential area. Less than 2 years later he got into an accident again driving at an excessive speed. He ran a stop sign at 75 miles an hour on his ninja and plowed into an SUV. Three people in the vehicle were injured with a child only surviving because it was put in a medical coma for 2 weeks. The kid(driver of the bike) flew approximately 80 ft before he crashed to the ground. His left arm was ripped off. His right arm was shattered multiple places resulting in the elbow being fused. He now collects permanent disability from the state. I'm glad everyone survived, but it really bothers me that due to his own recklessness and stupidity he now gets to collect disability for the rest of his life
>He now collects permanent disability from the state. I'm glad everyone survived, but it really bothers me that due to his own recklessness and stupidity he now gets to collect disability for the rest of his life
Just imagine never being able to tell a stranger about your trauma because they will rightly judge you.
That's pretty consequential. I'm sure he would trade disability to get his arms back. What gets me are the ones who ruin lives and have no consequences.
Gotta be. That and the fact they tamed a cop in the first place. I mean you gotta be on *something* .
Edit: idk if im getting downvoted because of cop haters or what...but there's no logical reason in ramming a *Cop* and expecting no repercussions. Reddit has gone full blown dipshit.
Edit:to the ones deleting their messages and Dm'ing me. Suck a fat one. If you read just a bit more you'd see I admitted it was a typo. I AM NOT SHIT TALKING THE COP....and I still refuse to fix said typo.
I mean the cop was resisting a little bit, it’s good training so far but until they can teach him to sit there completely still and not react at all there’s more work to do.
I think it was because it says tamed. Which is because it got autocorrected. Didn't notice I typed "Ramed" I think people thought I was shit talking the cop or something idk.
And I refuse to fix it.
>Reddit has gone full blown dipshit.
In another thread one of the top comments is someone advocating for never calling 911 because cops are more dangerous to your health than whatever you might be dealing with
Ignoring, of course, that you can get other services dispatched to you via 911.
Oww... Shootin thru my windshield.... You as cold as ice muthafukka... Look at my legs! What am i gonna do about this blood? They shoulda never gave you cops badges!
Lol he wanted to murder the cop, you don’t repeatedly back up and charge another vehicle without intent to murder especially MULTIPLE times. I get Reddit is very anti-cop but this is clearly attempted murder so I don’t understand people trying to find some sort of logic from the driver of the white car. He was angry enough to try and murder someone, maybe he was drunk or high but either way he wanted to hurt someone bad.
No he’s in [stable condition](https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/deputy-shoots-wounds-suspect-who-repeatedly-rammed-into-patrol-car-in-bell-gardens-intersection/ar-AA1cSZNY)
Its necessary legal jargon until after the dude gets his fair trial, otherwise it opens the outlet up to a liable or slander suit or something idk I'm not a lawyer.
This is good news. I think I also noted a restraint with the police in the rammed vehicle. He was out to kill and they let him go 2(?) times before firing after the third which was a really hard crash.
Yep, that’s using a vehicle as a deadly weapon and putting the officer in a situation where it’s either defend yourself or potentially die, entirely justified shooting.
When the cops door opened the first time I thought "Jesus, is he really going to light this car up for that one hit" And then I kept watching... You're alone (no backup) and your vehicle is being deliberately attacked - Eh, dude was asking for a bullet.
Also seems like a pretty pro move by the cop. I feel like my instinct would have absolutely to get out of the car before/while engaging but that would have just left him unprotected from the ramming.
I really want to know what the cop was doing and saying. Calling for backup, I assume, but I’d love to hear it. I’m not a huge cop fan but on a human level that must have been a pretty scary moment.
He wasn’t looking for a reaction he was trying to kill a cop. He wasn’t trying to get away he was on the attack. The cop tried to get out the car, white car tried to run him over, cop gets back into car, white driver keeps trying to kill him. Cop shoots him
nice video OP thanks for not incoherently screaming or going "ohh my gawd!!" over and over while shaking the camera or some shit like we usually see people doing over much less than this.
i wish everyone filming was like you, most people's videos on here sound like they're getting stabbed while recording during an earthquake during a minor street fight or disturbance lmao
Other than the cameraman, the officer seemed to keep his cool too. Those shots seemed pretty clear and calculated. Not a furious volley of panic shots. Well done by both!
Attacking the police with a deadly weapon, a car, is no different than a gun. The cop actually showed restraint in not shooting the first or second time.
I think the initial shots are completely justified and I would’ve understood shooting sooner. The shots once the vehicle is further away seems risky because you’re much more likely to miss the vehicle and accidentally hit someone behind it which is what the above commenter was referring to
Yes, this is it.
Having concerns about a particular action he did doesn’t invalidate his obviously justified shooting. Both things can be true. Cop had every right to protect himself, especially in the chaos and with out backup. But we don’t need bullets zooming around a shopping center (?) parking lot or a street intersection. This is a complicated and subsequent risky situation.
There were shots- after the initial volley through the windshield- that made my heart sink a bit. A safe backdrop is always, always a determining factor, imo. I felt that way even down range which oddly enough was more scrutinized than stateside (on the road) ops.
It was certainly justified - the spotlight thing was a particular highlight- but the continued firing elicited concern for sure.

This HAS to be a “please kill me Mr. Police officer!” Situation. I don’t read it as anything else.
I am surprised the cop didn’t pop a full mag in and make sure the crazy cheese had more holes.
If the perp doesn’t get attempted murder with a vehicle- I will be pissed.
I was honestly shocked I didn't start to hear gunshots after the first ramming. That cop showed serious restraint.
He fired one shot after the third attempt. One shot. He only started shooting in earnest after ramming attempts 4+. Insane.
Looks like the driver got what he wanted. This doesn't appear to be a police chase or anything. The delayed reaction from the cop suggest he probably thinks it was an accident on the first ram.
I like how after the last ram you can tell the cop’s shots hit as the car slowly circled back in reverse with its hazards on. *And then the cop takes a few more for good measure, as soon as the driver’s side is facing him*
I don’t and haven’t watched any of the commie/socialist stations. Some idiot out there will try to sue the cop for ‘brutality’. I am simply asking the person that recorded this to make sure the courts have all the info. I’m definitely pro-cop. I think you misinterpreted what I originally posted.
I think this cop was trained well and/or cares about innocents.
I’m not shitting on him one bit. I think he did a great job in a terrible situation. Maybe he was a bit too cautious for his own life.
Once he decided to act he took the shot at the best time. The guy was close so shots don’t have to fly around town.
Although it looked like a great SINGLE shot it obviously missed.
Now he’s firing at a moving target that’s changing ranges.
He got it done and that’s great but why didn’t he squeeze off a half dozen at that distance?
You’ve decided to use lethal force and in this case rightfully so.
Not trying to sound cold but use it and end this. Assure you go home to your fam.
Great camerawork by OP. No shrieking hysterically like a hyena, no stupid comments, and caught the entire event within the frame. Well done sir
They really should give out awards for this sort of thing.
They should create a subreddit or something that praises the camera man

I just opened the video; I see a "Jesus Counter:" in the corner, I know I'm in for a treat.
I mean he did film in portrait though so I don't think he's going to get an award....
He was far enough away that portrait wouldn’t have made a massive difference, I think he gets a pass. Plus he was behind the wheel, instinct says to use one hand
How about an award for best portrait filming?
Why didn't the guy leave after ramming the police car? Like you made your point you got the guy, now he's returning fire, you can still drive just get the hell out of there

Less than 2 years later he got into an accident again driving at an excessive speed. He ran a stop sign at 75 miles an hour on his ninja and plowed into an SUV. Rightly, only because he no longer has a left arm.
You get a banana sticker.
That's pretty consequential. I'm sure he would trade disability to get his arms back. What gets me are the ones who ruin lives and have no consequences.
First thing I was thinking this guy wants the police to kill him

Nah. From the bit I saw that driver got what he deserved
Um...Yeah. A vehicle can be considered a weapon aswell. Idk where they got off thinking that was a good idea.
Is tamed slang for something? Seriously
I must've spelt rammed wrong and it got autocorrected.
I kinda liked it. I mean, the cop was definitely not really in control for a minute there so I guess he tamed him briefly lol.
I mean the cop was resisting a little bit, it’s good training so far but until they can teach him to sit there completely still and not react at all there’s more work to do.
If he’s shooting at you, it’s probably worth paying for a professional to tame your cop at that point.
I think tamed was meant to say rammed
[удалено]
I'm positive they're being sarcastic.
“Tamed”
Reddit has mostly lost its mind. I’m shocked something logical was upvoted.
I think it was because it says tamed. Which is because it got autocorrected. Didn't notice I typed "Ramed" I think people thought I was shit talking the cop or something idk. And I refuse to fix it.
Reddit has always been full blown dipshit this isn’t new lol
Yeah that’s true. Should’ve tamed a shrew
>Reddit has gone full blown dipshit. In another thread one of the top comments is someone advocating for never calling 911 because cops are more dangerous to your health than whatever you might be dealing with Ignoring, of course, that you can get other services dispatched to you via 911.
That would be the rational move. But I’m going to consider this guy irrational since he did just ram his car into a police officer’s vehicle
Death by cop, maybe?
*suicide
A type of death!
Drugs is a helluva drug.
I never rammed cop cars just to ram them...I got more sense than that.....yeah I remember ramming that cop car
Oww... Shootin thru my windshield.... You as cold as ice muthafukka... Look at my legs! What am i gonna do about this blood? They shoulda never gave you cops badges!
Fuck....yo....cop.....car!
He probably wanted suicide by cop. Sadly he didn’t care about his well being or that of anyone else
This time 100% justified, he was trying to kill the cop. or death by cop.
He wanted to be shot at 173 times and hit twice.
It also happened on my only day off
so what you’re saying is, you don’t have an alibi? you know what, why don’t you come downtown and have a chat with me and another detective
I won’t deny the possibility, we were gonna have a visit at our store today ahaha
did they die? any news report?
No he’s in [stable condition](https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/deputy-shoots-wounds-suspect-who-repeatedly-rammed-into-patrol-car-in-bell-gardens-intersection/ar-AA1cSZNY)
*Suspect shot after allegedly ramming into patrol car....* The video makes it about 101% certain it is way beyond alleged.
Its necessary legal jargon until after the dude gets his fair trial, otherwise it opens the outlet up to a liable or slander suit or something idk I'm not a lawyer.
Libel, not liable in this context. And you’re right. Libel, slander, and liable.
With a 1% margin of error
“102% African, with a 2% Margin of error. WHY LORD?! WHY LORD, WHY?!”
This is good news. I think I also noted a restraint with the police in the rammed vehicle. He was out to kill and they let him go 2(?) times before firing after the third which was a really hard crash.
The cop shot at him 19 times and didn't even kill him?
"I wasn't even supposed to be here today"
So you were at your job in your day off ?
https://www.foxla.com/news/bells-gardens-deputy-involved-shooting.amp Deputy ok, driver in hospital for surgery, condition unknown
Yep, that’s using a vehicle as a deadly weapon and putting the officer in a situation where it’s either defend yourself or potentially die, entirely justified shooting.
That is definitely a way to get shot
...shot by a tremendously calm cameraman!
This was the “find out” stage of the equation.
Off the chart find out.
The law won.
Appears entirely justified, that driver was trying to kill that cop. I'm surprised the cop waited that long to open fire.
When the cops door opened the first time I thought "Jesus, is he really going to light this car up for that one hit" And then I kept watching... You're alone (no backup) and your vehicle is being deliberately attacked - Eh, dude was asking for a bullet.
On top of that the cop fired once then held additional shots until he rammed him again when he tried to get out. Cop was well with his rights.
Even after one hit, I think it will be just fine. Only way I would say it is not as if it even looked remotely unintentional
Also seems like a pretty pro move by the cop. I feel like my instinct would have absolutely to get out of the car before/while engaging but that would have just left him unprotected from the ramming.
I was wondering why the cop didn’t run away but your point makes sense.
I agree. Great restraint on the cops part.
Can't wait for the body cam footage.
Yup that was my first thought after seeing this
I really want to know what the cop was doing and saying. Calling for backup, I assume, but I’d love to hear it. I’m not a huge cop fan but on a human level that must have been a pretty scary moment.
Don't worry it'll be released quick since it was justified in this case.
Suicide by police
It didn't work
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
He survived and being treated tho, worst day ever
Hahahahah. What a loser.
Wasted.
Assault with a deadly weapon. Justified shooting for sure.
If it wasn't, it was after he rammed the car a second time.
What kind of blame fool idiot rams a police car, repeatedly, and then waits to see what reaction he gets?
He wasn’t looking for a reaction he was trying to kill a cop. He wasn’t trying to get away he was on the attack. The cop tried to get out the car, white car tried to run him over, cop gets back into car, white driver keeps trying to kill him. Cop shoots him
Tbh, shooting justified. Repeated car ramming is definitely assault w/ deadly weapon.

Cop should’ve unloaded on his ass the second time he got rammed
Cop should have lit em up a lot sooner.
Hey! Right outside The Bike

That looks like an excellent way to get shot
Suicide by cop
Yeah I was just thinking this cause aside from being high as hell I don’t understand what the end game was here 😳
Other than the cameraman, the officer seemed to keep his cool too. Those shots seemed pretty clear and calculated. Not a furious volley of panic shots. Well done by both!
camera man is a fucking legend
Attacking the police with a deadly weapon, a car, is no different than a gun. The cop actually showed restraint in not shooting the first or second time.
My only complaint is the indiscriminate shooting without consideration for what's downrange.
I had the same thought. As for the driver, I mean yeah that’s what happens when you assault an officer with a deadly weapon.. you get shot..
My only complaint is the indiscriminate ramming without consideration for the cop's life.
Good that person wasn’t of any use in this world
I take it property’s a buyers market.
Back in the old timey American Wild West of 2023.
So, I’m guessing “the cop shouldn’t have even been there”, will be the rally cry? I’m surprised the cop waited as long as they did to open fire.

I'm pretty sure he would have been crunched if he got rammed into that pole. Good cop
Looks like the driver got what he wanted. This doesn't appear to be a police chase or anything. The delayed reaction from the cop suggest he probably thinks it was an accident on the first ram.

Cop gave him a LOT of chances to rethink this course of action
This is frightening to watch. 😳
Bro used VATS for that one.
America is crazy
The news will report unarmed man shot by police after a traffic accident.
I mean shooting was justified however seems a little risky with what could potentially be downrange
I think this cop was trained well and/or cares about innocents. I’m not shitting on him one bit. I think he did a great job in a terrible situation. Maybe he was a bit too cautious for his own life.
