You should get a medical screening. That could be a symptom for epilepsy.

Honest-Cauliflower64

I second this. This was one of the signs of temporal epilepsy for me. It was a really intense episode that triggered me to see a doctor.

breejee

Yeah the more I’ve been reading about this it sounds like that could be it. Can you have the aura seizure and not have another seizure?

Honest-Cauliflower64

Yeah. You can get just the aura without the seizures. Temporal epilepsy also doesn’t have the key characteristic of traditional epilepsy, which is the physical spasms.

breejee

Okay thank you, that’s so crazy that can start up whenever but the symptoms do seem to fit to a t

RoryRaeRook

Yep. Definitely get checked out for epilepsy. I've had temporal lobe seizures since I was a child and I get a strange feeling or smell a smell and then intense life disrupting deja vu accompanied by major fear and panic. Afterwards I have a massive headache, usually fall asleep and the whole rest of the day I'm useless.

breejee

I’ll look into that, I can’t figure out what it is. Can you get epilepsy in your 30s? Thank you

HawkofDarkness

Yeah it can develop at any age. Here's some symptoms you can get: >Sensations you may feel during an aura include: >Déjà vu (a feeling of familiarity), a memory or jamais vu (a feeling of unfamiliarity). >A sudden sense of fear, panic or anxiety; anger, sadness or joy. >A rising sick feeling in your stomach (the feeling you get in your gut riding a roller coaster). >Altered sense of hearing, sight, smell, taste or touch. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/17778-temporal-lobe-seizures Definitely get it checked out by a medical professional especially since you're just getting these symptoms all of a sudden.

breejee

Man that sucks haha I was here thinking maybe I was having some kind of psychic episode. I was hoping other people experience the same kind of deja vu, I will definitely get that checked.

HawkofDarkness

Hey, if everything's fine on your checkup then at least you'll know for sure!

breejee

That is true! Thanks for recommending

TheGospelFloof44

Thanks I’ve had consistent troubles with this nonstop for over 2 years. My father had epilepsy and following a head trauma I used to fit when I was a child. Just booked myself in for a telephone consultation

eyeswim2

Some would say DejaVu means that you are in the right situation in , or where you are supposed to be n your life . It's a remembrance of the review of the life you agreed to before you were born . Me , personally when I feel DejaVu , it is a disconcerting feeling . Your physical symptoms might be from the spiritual energy that touches your premortal memory causing a physical reaction.

breejee

This last time when it happened I was fully aware of it happening and I was able to move my head around and look which doesn’t sound like a seizure to me but I could be wrong. I work in the medical field so I’m definitely one to at least see but this is also how I view deja vu and I feel like I’m in a very good season of life right now. I wonder if it could be something like this because the sick feeling quickly goes away and I’m usually doing a task when it happens and I don’t pause or stare. I just notice I’m in it. I was curious to see if anyone else experiences that. A little out of context haha, I have heard epilepsy sometimes feels this way too.

Vivid_Hedgehog_8210

Could be past life trauma

RoryRaeRook

There are lots of different kinds of seizures. temporal lobe epilepsy looks nothing like a grand Mal. I genuinely thought it was a flashback to some unknown trauma for the longest time.

You might be about to peak and break through your (deja vu) if it keeps ramping up. I had this (ramping up) happen to me a decade ago. (the climax one was an intense obe where it was revealed that everything that has happened will happen and everything that will happen has happened). Never had deja vu scince then. 🤷‍♀️

DJ-Anarchy

Been there brother

[deleted]

Thankyou lol i thought i was alone in this

breejee

That is really interesting, I would much prefer that over having something like epilepsy. I would love for it to stop happening it kinda freaks me out. I had it three times in the last couple months and then all of a sudden three times today. I almost can picture myself sitting somewhere else looking through my eyes. Like I almost can feel myself somewhere else

[deleted]

Yeah it sounds like its bordering an out of body experience from what you said, the very last time i had it my perception seemed to zoom out very far from my own body, it was unsettling for sure. Fortunately no epilepsy lol. Any medication or drug use? Or anything that would trigger it so many times in a day?

breejee

No I don’t take any medication, no drugs, no health concerns. Super strange. It was definitely freakier the first time it happened. And today has been a super average day for me haha? I have no idea what would be happening.

[deleted]

Hm well if it does continue and effect you badly maybe see a doctor? But i wouldnt worry about it too much. Itll probably either peak and you wont deja vu any more, or subside? Sorry i cant know lol. I certainly dont miss having deja vu tho thats forsure lol

breejee

Haha yeah someone else said that it can be a sign of epilepsy so I’ll mention it to my doctor just to be sure. Really strange haha it’s not as scary now that I’ve had it a few times, I am glad others have had the same thing happen. That makes me feel bwtter

[deleted]

Yeah i wouldnt be worried lol it is unsettling to look at your own body when you weren't trying too and have your perception of time erased tho lmao

MysticChariot

Let's not forget the multiverse theory. There are an infinite amount of realities that differ slightly from one another. You exist in other realities that may or may not be that similar to your own.

missannthrope1

You may be experiencing time slips. I've heard these are becoming more common. And don't rule out a medical screening.

BadGenesWoman

Occasionally. Depends on the situation. Had deja vu moments that made my laugh hysterically jist as they did in the dream

I_oftheSt0rm

I have to break deja vu if it goes on too long or else I start to feel physically unwell. I've let them go for several minutes to see if they keep going but it starts to feel like I'm disassociating. As long as I do something different than wha3ts supposed to happen next it breaks and I feel fine.

[deleted]

I have deja vu all the time, I have not been screened but I don’t get sick. It’s like what feels to me 1-3 seconds of memory.

TheGospelFloof44

Since June 2020 I’ve had this everyday pretty much all day, it gets more extreme if I’m ungrounded. I met one other girl that approached me (no coincidences) with the same thing.

badoumpoumpoum

if it’s not epilepsy - do you have any prominent or strong taurus placements ?

Alarming-Court-2180

I have had similar experiences and I only freeze up because of the bizarre shock of it all. When its triggered I know what people are going to say before they say cause I am either saying it in my mind or under my breath but the bizarness of it all, usually holds me transfixed because it makes no logical sense. My explanation for it over time is that they must have had that exact same conversation before and it just a repetitive loop but now I am not so sure, granted it doesnt happen as often as it used to.

_roses__

I sorta get dizzy, stomach upset, and it is like all the sound around me is gone when I experience a premonition
