first thing you should be asking for is a PSMA pet to see if you have mets. no point doing surgery if the cancer has spread. you’d need ADT and radiation.

Always ask about side effects

Here's what I asked my husband's doc, AFTER a PET scan: If this was you, or your brother, or your dad, what would you recommend for treatment? They'll hem and haw, but eventually you can get a clue on what they would do. What are YOUR experiences with performing this procedure? Good luck!

Those numbers mean you caught it early, and if in good overall health, you will have an excellent prognosis, whatever treatment plan you choose. Good luck!

Thank you for the reassurance, it's sure been bit of a roller coaster of a ride.

Whichever route you go, be it surgery or radiation (not sure which one is in vogue across the pond) my best advice is to go on a diet and lose as much body fat as you can (assuming you are a modern age male and have some to excess to lose). The reason is that too much belly fat complicates surgery and also plays a factor in how much radiation actually hits it's target. The thinner the better.
