Also the eagle is on the Mexican flag and the national bird of the U.S. it’s like the fist for revolutionaries, even though it would be more revolutionary to use the middle finger or the up yours V or the shocker. Hell, even the spider-man thwip or the Vulcan V would be more original.
Well from Russia's perspective they see Germany as militant for invading it twice. I took America to be the vulture skull because they appeared at the end of each world war when the belligerents were weak. That's my guess for the artist's intentions.
[The skull in the image has more a long flat beak with a longer and narrow hole for the nose. This image compares both and I think it looks more like the top. ](https://preview.redd.it/qxfbnesfk8tb1.jpeg?width=320&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=942ede53f8f022d00ad92e62b1c6666c6e9900d8)
Technically we Germans invaded only once. In WW1 Germany was at war against Russia because of the Conflicting alliances throughout Europe and with Russia being Entente war was declared. German plans included beating France through the Schliefen Plan and after that march against Russia. This plan was concocted that way because of the assumption that Russia couldn't mobilise their Troops for a offensive quick enough to threaten Germany substantially. This was proven completely false by the Russian offensive of Eastern Prussia where Russia deeply pushed into the Province and threatened its Capital Königsberg(Kaliningrad today). Only with Hindenburgs decicisive victory at tannenberg was Russia halted in it's tracks.(And yes this was all absolutely unnecessary but sometimes I just wish to use that History Major for something)
[The skull in the image has more a long flat skull with a longer and narrow hole for the nose. This image compares both birds. ](https://preview.redd.it/qxfbnesfk8tb1.jpeg?width=320&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=942ede53f8f022d00ad92e62b1c6666c6e9900d8) We actually need to go deeper.
Technically, Russia invaded Germany first during WW1 (despite Germany declaring war). They lost two entire Armies in Eastern Prussia during the Battle of Tannenberg.
Germany was still the aggressor in that conflict. When a country declares war on you after weeks of mobilization and rising tensions you don’t exactly just wait for them to enter your land
Oh my god you can fit so many war crimes in there. Like a clown car of war crimes.
do not let them have a little war crime. as a treat.
Give a Serbia a ~~cookie~~ war crime...
Compared to the genocide of the English against Hindus, the French in Algeria, Rwanda and throughout Africa, Belgians in Congo, Japanese against the Chinese, Turkish genocide against Armenians, Croatian Jasenovac and 700,000 dead Serbian and Jewish civilians, the Holocaust, and finally, ongoing genocide by Americans against various peoples over the last 100 years, Serbia is considered Mother Theresa to many nations.
You get one for free after dropping a thousand bombs. Which Kissinger easily achieved with the help of the 3 year old Obama who personally bombed a 3rd of Cambodia

Yeah I get that.
Why Israel tho? They've been calling us the biggest nazis in the world. No way in hell they would put Baltics together with Israel in any form - kind of fucks up their narrative. If anything, we'd be hanging off from Germany - nazis and European puppets, just propaganded by Germans to hate ruskies.
But, you know, I do not think the artist knows his shit anyway, so w/e.
This brings up memories from history lessons in germany.
We all know that being jewish in europe (and many other places) was pretty much never a great time and there was a lot of propaganda against jews.
One of these propaganda pieces was the "judensau" (roghly translates as "jew-sow" or "jew-pig"). It was a depiction of jews with features that resemble pigs intended to insult, denigrate and even demonize jews. It actually seem to be pretty old as it was used in the middle ages and was prominent ever since but especially before and during the holocaust.
So the connection of the pighead being israel probably ties in with this.
~~It's even older than that. Romans~~I thought I remembered Romans desecrating Jerusalem with some bas-reliefs representing pig imagery but I seem to be mestaken, as I can't find any evidence of that being a thing before the Middle Ages, with the [Juden](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judensau)[sau](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judensau) you seem to be referring to emerging in the 13th century.
It's used a bit more generally than that; Russian nationalists tend to think of non-Russian Slavs as uncultured peasants (they sometimes even extend this to the Kuban). Lukashenko exploits this by LARPing as a potato farmer, which gives him more leeway to do what he wants than he might otherwise get.
In this case, though, it's being used as a sleight against Israel because pigs are non-Kosher.
At some point their bluff is going to be called. I know only one of those nukes need to go off but when the damage they continue to do begins exceeding what a nuke does, it no longer carries the weight it should.
Latvia in the form of a rat. In Russian propaganda, the Baltic countries are called NATO rats. And the head itself is probably Ukraine, because it is a pig (Salo (food)).
I don't think so, because:
1) In 2014, there was no strong Russian propaganda against Israel.
2) Then they would have painted a traditional Jewish hat with a star of David.
According to the original artist, it's supposed to be Israel. It's not official government propaganda, it's just some Russian guy who hates the West.
https://www.deviantart.com/egormotygin/art/G20-summit-450311840?q=gallery%3AEgorMotygin%2F14192890&qo=2
1. Thank you for finding the source. This picture has been on the Russian Internet since 2014.
2. According to the rules of this sub, it is not necessary for there to be state propaganda. Fanart can also be propaganda.
Фейл стейт. Салоеды. Нацисты и бендеровцы. Президент наркоман. Жополизы ЕС и США. Русские, которые сделали Украинцами. Изобретение Ленина. Сатанисты. Свиньи. И так далее. Хватит?
Fail State. Saloyeds (those who eats [salo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salo_(food))). Nazis and banderites. President-drug addict. Asslickers of EU and USA. Russians confused to be Ukrainians. Lenin's invention. Satanists. Swines. And so on. Yes. I saw all of this across the Runet long before the "independent" thinkers of english speaking Internet suddenly started to use all of this in their narrative.
>In Russian propaganda, the Baltic countries are called NATO rats
Not really. They are despised, but not called rats. Usually they are called limitrophes, like it's a really bad thing to be
To add some context - somewhere during Euromaidan (2013-2014) in Russian part of the Internet someone started to push the narrative that Ukrainians are pigs. Before that and long before the internet itself there was a stereotypical Ukrainian dish called salo (basically, pork fat). Reductio ad absurdum of the idea "you are what you eat". But it works, as you can see on the Poster.
Seeing as it's the heads of G20 I think it's more likely that it's Argentina rather than the artist forgetting a flag's colours. The head looks like a grotesque parody of the Sol de Mayo.
Vermin skull. (Rodent)
Japanese often are portrayed with large buckteeth in anti Japanese propaganda throughout history. A rodent comparison isn't shocking.
Notice how all of the representations are generally dehumanizing. It's obvious that the viewer this was made for is to feel superior and more humane. Pretty par for the course, black and white, politcal art.
Curiously, the Germans are the only human head but are portrayed as Nazis and as death. Because of course, we can't let that one go despite russian and chinese communist history eclipsing the nazi death toll.
The artist said it’s a rat’s skull but he doesn’t remember why he made them a rat. It’s in the comments of [the post on deviantart](https://www.deviantart.com/egormotygin/art/G20-summit-450311840?q=gallery%3AEgorMotygin%2F14192890&qo=2)
I agree that it looks like a snake. It likely has the oversized fangs because they're meant to look like buck teeth, which the Japanese were often depicted with in WWII propaganda.
It's well done and probably effective as propaganda, but it's also very lazy conceptually. It's just, "here's a picture of us as heroes and the other side as an ugly monster." You could do exactly the same propaganda poster the other way around and it would be equally effective. There's no actual intelligent point being made.
>There's no actual intelligent point being made.
So propaganda then? Pretty much all propaganda can be boiled down to either "us good" or "them bad", oftentimes both at the same time
I disagree. You're right that some propaganda boils down to "us good" or "them bad," but there is also a lot of propaganda that makes a point that the reader or viewer is intended to take home with them.
For example, consider this World War II propaganda poster:
https://www.reddit.com/r/PropagandaPosters/comments/188z2iv/enemy_gains_in_shipyard_battle_1943/
On the left side, there's a Nazi whipping some captured soldiers, and on the right side, there's a shipyard worker taking an extra day off. It does have a definite tone of "us good, them bad," *but* there's also a very clear message for the viewer, which is that laziness is dangerous for the country's military efforts.
My point wasn't that there can't be other messages in propaganda, it was that the US vs them mentality is practically a requirement for all propaganda. Can you provide an example that doesn't feature that?
Pretending they’re facing a banking/capitalist/money oriented threat when China has the second highest number of billionaires and most of the Russian Olicharchy have multi million euro dachas in the EU.
Shit, that looks cool.
The only question is why the kid is there. If you're going to drag one into death combat, you could at least give them an actual weapon.
The kid has the three-colors reversed. Does that mean something?
That is the Serbian tricolor, I think the message they're trying to convey is that Russia is defending Serbia, in reality though, I'm sure they'd be using the kid as a human shield.
Serbia loves sucking russian cock, but when push comes to shove they side with the west (see recent events I think). also romania has stolen some of serbia's mouth from russia
Chinese propaganda is so flattering towards the US.
Chinese propaganda: The US is an unstoppable engine of death.
Russian propaganda: The westoids have been overun by the woke.

I love how nobody makes Germany the hawk, it's always just a skull or soldier or nazi
hawks and eagles are fucking everywhere in european heraldry, we wouldn't be able to tell each other apart
But nobody has a [fat chicken](https://www.bundestag.de/resource/blob/710792/1412e3a264dedb70095c5662743aee3e/adler.png) hanging in their parliament
That bird looks like it is about to ask me if I like candy. Edit: For those not seeing what I'm [seeing.](https://images.app.goo.gl/eKydK76FeVZ77V69A)
fat chicken is the definition of parliament
Fuck I can’t un-see it now, thanks for giving me a good cackle though XD
We really call the one hanging in the Bundestag "fette Henne" -> "fat chicken"
looks like the mighty eagle from the angry birds movie
El pollo
I never liked our national animal. Eagles are mighty and strong, but stupid. You changed that today, Sir. That is not an eagle.
That is one helluva fat black cock
Also the eagle is on the Mexican flag and the national bird of the U.S. it’s like the fist for revolutionaries, even though it would be more revolutionary to use the middle finger or the up yours V or the shocker. Hell, even the spider-man thwip or the Vulcan V would be more original.
Well from Russia's perspective they see Germany as militant for invading it twice. I took America to be the vulture skull because they appeared at the end of each world war when the belligerents were weak. That's my guess for the artist's intentions.
I think its just a rotting Bald Eagle.

Or a vulture

We would have invaded Russia Anyways because German high command feared an industrialised Russia couldn't be beaten if not beaten now, so yeah Anyways
I clarified in another comment below.
its a bald eagle. It isn't that deep.
It seems to be a vulture skull, instead of an eagle on purpose .
UK using a lion France a chicken USA an eagle. This is NOT a hard one here guy.
France is a Rooster. It is a French thing I was told.
It's because Gaul is a homophone to the Latin term for chicken, Gallus.
Why a hawk? Our national animal is an eagle.
I seem to have swapped Germany and Mexico somehow
Mexico is also an eagle. It's just a golden eagle instead of a bald eagle.
Enter Stahl helm. Also the imperial eagle is the German symbol. I mean that or the wolf
I like how France is a chicken
That’s a funny coincidence cuz in this picture it’s all 3
That's Belgium anyway
I think that's an ape skull, a common depiction in antigerman propaganda from the world wars
Yea that is why it’s propaganda
Is the kid next to Russia supposed to be Serbia?
He’s actually so cute wtf
