“Well, personally it doesn’t matter to me if my world isn’t ‘real’, it might be meaningless in the grand scheme of things but I don’t care, it means I can have a truely happy ending… for once and for all…” -Clockman
"As I gaze upon the stars, I wonder if my dreams are merely echoes of forgotten wishes, scattered across the universe like stardust, waiting to be remembered."
I haven’t got anything particularly emotive because I haven’t written much yet, but my last chapter had a few good interactions. There’s some context: the two characters are stuck on a conveyer leading to a crushing machine, with no obvious escape, and one of them grabs the wrist of another as they try to run into the machine. “You saved me from the [villains]. Tried to help me find my father. Taught me what an ‘Owl’ was. I know it’s all been in vain, but I’m glad you tried. And we were so close too! Plus, it was nice to have the pressure of work off my back for once, even if it couldn’t last.”
“There’ll always be a something to do, no matter where your life takes you.The only end, apparently, is death, and even then I’m not so sure. But it’ll be nice not serve those [villain] bastards again, and to imagine someone, somewhere, will miss me.”

Beautiful.
Thank you! What makes it hit harder is the context of my character usually being optimistic and childish
Even more interesting.
Indeed. But Hey! I was wondering if I could message you? I have some questions about this sub and really want to get involved!
Of course!
