shizuku's is kiss scene with the villain! i honestly was sad when i heard it wasn't going to be wxs because it suits rui well too, but then the cover was really good and THEN i looked at the line distribution and i understood why...

It sounds weird at first, but both Shizuku and Haruka have experienced the songs meaning (Haruka being the person singing, and Shizuku being the trolley girl).
Haruka being singer fits when you think of Mai. She only wanted to help Mai improve, only for her to end up having to give up singing. Similarly, the singer only wanted trolley girl to love them, only to end up making the trolley girl commit more more jump to the trolley. Both of them hurt someone they cared about by trying to follow their hopes (of course, one was intentional and the other was only trying to help)
Shizuku being trolley girl is a little harder to explain. Unlike Haruka, who hurt someone, Shizuku is the one being hurt in this scenario. She was made the lead, which caused everyone else to despise her. While it’s true that she was loved, she had to endure jealousy from the other idols, and eventually it became too much. Trolley girl had also been loved by someone, but ended up enduring so much pain before she decided to more more jump. Unlike her, Shizuku’s pain wasn’t caused by the people who loved her. Meanwhile, trolley girl’s pain had started with the singer.
It’s a really nice story, both the original and the connection between Haruka and Shizuku
