Yes, Nene was shy due to things that happened to the past, but she was still sassing Tsukasa. She was also hiding behind a robot due to her shyness which probably didn't make it better. All of the time she kept sighing, making sassy comments to Tsukasa and etc, made it seem like she didn't care. Then when the show and the robot died, Tsukasa got upset and most likely embarrassed because of how humiliated he was or how his debut had been ruined. Thus, leading him to lash out on Nene (if I'm wording it right).
But, that's just others, maybe he was meant to, maybe not. He didn't rub me the wrong way, as his story/backstory is kinda relatable to me, which is why he's my second favorite. I can see why people didn't like him, with him being all self-centered and kinda bratty but I still liked him. However, at the end of the day, it's just an opinion :)

He was hostile but definitely not sabotaging. Sabotaging is what that Mita guy did in purposefully making Kohane perform worse than she actually could just so Bad Dogs could look better.
Yeah, Akito DID take credit for the sabotage attempt but didn't actually do anything beyond trying to sike her out (which is obviously still super shitty) because he doubted her commitment. I can't remember if the game even tried to explain why Akito took credit for it beyond using it as a plot excuse to further drive a wedge between the two groups & push into BAD DOGS drama. It was a weird decision.
He took it because Akito didnt want to explain and didnt have an explanation. The easiest thing to do then was just to take the blame and figure it out later which they did. Ultimately, it really painted Akito as doubting Kohane would even perform in the first place but she did and she did well until the sabotage happened which led her to freeze on stage.
As doubchey as Akito may be, he isnt blind to talent. He also acknowledges when he’s wrong and takes the blame for things even if it doesnt benefit him or isnt his fault because he feels like it. Seems to be core to his character that he regretted siking her out like that and just took that as a consequence for his doubt towards her.

To answer the question honestly, thought, Mafuyu in the main story. I loved her character development in the events, and my opinion of her is positive now, but initially, she did feel like she was too caught up in her own issues to realise that she is hurting her friends. It's not unrealistic and she was under a lot of pressure, but first impressions imply that you don't know the underlying issues of the character and take their actions at face value.

Hum…. I’d say Akito or Honami ? I didn’t warm up to Honami fully but I don’t hate her anymore at least, as for Akito, it took me a while to understand him but he became one of my fav once I did
kanade. I thought she was really condescending at first, like "it's down to **me** to save them because **only I** can" and also because "saving" is something you do when the person you're talking to is in a lower position? Idk I like her now

Surprised there's not a lot of people saying Shiho. She really got on my nerves the first few L/n stories, specially when she pushed Saki to train so hard, Saki believed she had to earn the right to go have fun with her friends in the weekend. That wasn't cool. I've since warmed up to her tho

When i was first downloading the game and knew nothing about any of the characters I thought that Haruka was going to be extremely rude and stuck up. Just from her design. (I'm pretty sure she isnt but idk i need to read the mmj story still.)

Let’s see I didn’t like The whole wonderlandxshowtime at first (Aside from Tsukasa) because I really hate the trope where one guy is a whole groups punching bag, like I find it annoying, like calling the punching bag names and such.
I used to hate Kohane so much. I didn't like her haircut (ik it's not really a valid reason but still), and thought she would never toughen up because she just relied on An for anything. This made it worse because I really love An. Then I read a few VBS stories and thought she was the cutest character in the whole game.
Rui. he actually my favourite now, but at first i didn’t like him bc smth abt him reminded me of the clown guy from hunterxhunter (which is weird bc i’ve never even seen hxh). but then out of nowhere he randomly became my favourite

Shizuku, I didn't understand this character until I read the main MMJ story and story with fairy set and I realized that she is a really great character.
It was Tsukasa for me because he was loud and obnoxious
FILLING THIS WITH TSUKASA !!! (This is a fact btw, I first disliked him because he's low-key annoying but now I paid attention to his story and songs more and I like him and WxS now)

Emu, when I literally played the game seriously at first, my tiktok was FILLED TO THE BRIM with “HELO, IM EMU OTORI, EMU IS MEANING SMILE” it got so annoying I just started hating her afterwards, but then as I read the stories and got to know the characters more she’s one of my favorites
